A display device includes an output circuit, a multiplexer, and a controller. The output circuit is configured to output a data voltage to an output pin. The multiplexer is configured to sequentially output the data voltage to different data lines according to a first multiplexing signal and a second multiplexing signal. The controller is configured to generate a control signal according to a variation of the data voltage to make the output pin output a default voltage level different from the data voltage corresponding to the data voltage.

Display device and driving circuit of display device

A display device and a shutdown control method thereof are provided. In the display device, a display panel has multiple pixels. A power supply circuit generates a power supply voltage, a gate high voltage and a common voltage according to an input power. A gate driver generates gate scan signals, and a source driver provides source driving signals to drive the display panel. A shutdown detection circuit detects a variation state of voltages values of the power supply voltage, the input voltage and the gate high voltage, and starts a shutdown process when the variation state is a decreasing state. In the shutdown process, the source driver makes the source driving signals to be equal to a reference ground voltage, the gate driver generates the gate scan signals with a high voltage pulse, and the power supply circuit makes the common voltage to be equal to the reference ground voltage.

Display device and shutdown control method thereof

A display apparatus and an operating method of the display apparatus are provided. The display apparatus includes a display panel, a light luminance sensing circuit, a controller, and a driving circuit. The light luminance sensing circuit senses luminance intensity to generate an output sensing signal. The controller receives the output sensing signal and converts the output sensing signal to generate selecting numeric information according to look-up information. The controller generates a control driving signal according to the selecting numeric information. The look-up information records a corresponding relation between a plurality of electric characteristic values and a plurality of pieces of numeric information. The driving circuit adjusts the luminance intensity of a lighting element according to the control driving signal.

A display apparatus and a driving method thereof are provided. A data driving chip provides a plurality of data voltages to a plurality of multiplexers through a plurality of output lines. When the display apparatus displays a pure gray pattern, the data voltages are alternately provided to a first data line group and a second data line group during a scan line driving period of each of the scan lines to make two adjacent pixels have different polarities. During a blank period, a plurality of data lines corresponding to a plurality of pixels having the same color and the same polarity on two adjacent scan lines are electrically coupled to each other through the data driving chip to share charges.

A data driver for a display device comprises a first boost circuit, a first gate clock generation circuit, a first level shift circuit, and a data drive circuit. The first boost circuit is used to receive a supply voltage value and generate at least one preset voltage value. The first gate clock generation circuit is electrically coupled to the first boost circuit, and is used to receive a plurality of timing signals and at least one preset voltage value, and generate at least one first timing signal. The first level shift circuit is used to receive the at least one first timing signal and generate at least one gate timing signal. The data drive circuit is used to receive the timing signals, and generate a plurality of display data signals.

A power supply circuit includes a comparison circuit, a preset value setting circuit, a reset detecting circuit and a reset signal generating circuit. The comparison circuit compares a first and second voltage to output a comparing result. The first and second voltages correspond to a first and second preset value, respectively. When the comparison result shows that the second voltage is greater than the first voltage, the preset value setting circuit outputs the second preset value; otherwise it outputs a third preset value, which is greater than the first preset value. The reset detecting circuit determines whether the operation voltage of the power supply circuit drops to the preset value outputted by the preset value setting circuit, and outputs a control signal accordingly. The reset signal generating circuit determines whether to output a reset signal for resetting gate lines in a display panel based on the control signal.

Power supply circuit and driving method for display panel

An integrated circuit includes a sensing output terminal, a driver, a first sensing input terminal, a second sensing input terminal and a sensor. The driver is used to transmit a sensing test signal through the sensing output terminal. The first sensing input terminal is coupled to the sensing output terminal through a first external circuit for receiving the sensing test signal. The second sensing input terminal is coupled to the sensing output terminal through a second external circuit for receiving the sensing test signal. The sensor is used to compare the sensing test signals received by the first sensing input terminal and the second sensing input terminal with a clock signal respectively to generate a first comparison result and a second comparison result.

A charge-sharing controlling method and a display panel are disclosed. The charge-sharing controlling method is suitable for the display panel including plural sub-pixels. The charge-sharing controlling method includes following steps: determining whether the display panel is displaying a primary color screen; if the display panel is displaying a primary color screen, prolonging an activated time of a charge-sharing circuit, which is coupled between any two of the sub-pixels displaying the same color, adjacent to each other and having opposite polarities.

A clock generator circuit of a liquid display panel includes a charge sharing switch unit, a first capacitor, a first switch, a second switch, a third switch and a fourth switch. A driving circuit of an LCD device and related driving method is provided. The driving circuit includes a thermal sensor and a power IC. The thermal sensor is configured to detect the operational temperature of the LCD device, thereby generating a corresponding thermal signal. The power IC is configured to provide a plurality of clock signals for driving a gate driver of the LCD device, and adjust the effective pulse widths of the plurality of clock signals according to the thermal signal.

Driving circuit of a liquid crystal device and related driving method

By following properties that there is coupled noise, which is coupled from a display panel, within at least one common voltage used on the display panel, the at least one common voltage is fed-back into a pixel electrode driving module, and driving voltages are generated accordingly, so that the generated driving voltages carry noises closes to coupled noises of the display panel. As a result, while the driving voltages carrying noises from the at least one common voltage, the pixel electrode driving module is capable of driving a corresponding pixel electrode with a stable voltage difference, and thereby capable of relieving horizontal crosstalk and raising a display quality of the display panel.

A method for controlling gate signals of a liquid crystal display (LCD), including generating gate signal with a modulated pulse width according to the gate signal with a default pulse width; when the LCD is booting up, outputting the gate signal with the modulated pulse width; and when a backlight module of the LCD is turned on, switching the gate signal with the modulated pulse width to the gate signal with the default pulse width. This way, the pulse width of the gate signal is increased after the LCD is boot up and before the backlight module is turned on, enabling the LCD to be boot properly in low temperature, without the need to raise the voltage level of the gate signal.
