A fingerprint recognition device with a wake-up function is provided, which includes a signal wiring, a sensing array at least partially surrounded by the signal wiring, a first electrode, and a control circuit. The control circuit is coupled with the signal wiring, the first electrode, and the sensing array. The control circuit detects capacitance between the signal wiring and the first electrode in a first operation mode to generate a sensing result, and determines whether an object is on or near the sensing array according to the sensing result. If the control circuit determines that the object is on or near the sensing array, the control circuit switches from the first operation mode to a second operation mode. The control circuit drives the sensing array by the signal wiring to generate multiple sensing signals in the second operation mode, and calculates a sensed image according to the multiple sensing signals.

Fingerprint recognition device with wake-up function and driving method thereof

A touch panel includes a substrate, a first sensing series, a second sensing series, and an insulating layer. The first sensing series, disposed on the substrate along a first direction, includes first sensing pads and at least one first bridge structure. The first bridge structure is connected between two adjacent first sensing pads, and has a first opening. The second sensing series, disposed on the substrate along a second direction different from the first direction, includes second sensing pads and at least one second bridge structure. The second bridge structure crosses the first bridge structure, and is connected between two adjacent second sensing pads. A portion of the second bridge structure is located in the first opening. The insulating layer is disposed between the first bridge structure and the second bridge structure. A portion of the insulating layer extending into the first opening has a second opening.

Touch panel

A touch electrode layer includes a plurality of touch electrodes, a plurality of first bridges, a plurality of second bridges, and an insulation layer disposed between the first bridges and the second bridges. The touch electrodes are arranged in rows and columns. The first bridges electrically connect the touch electrodes located in the same row to form a plurality of first touch series. The second bridges electrically connect the touch electrodes located in the same column to form a plurality of second touch series. Each touch electrode includes a top electrode pattern and a bottom electrode pattern stacked with each other. A normal projection in a XY plane of an edge of a top surface of the top electrode pattern and a normal projection in the XY plane of an edge of a top surface of the bottom electrode pattern are not completely overlapped.

Touch electrode layer

An exemplary capacitive touch sensor includes a first wire-like electrode and a second wire-like electrode. The first wire-like electrode includes at least a first main wire and multiple first sub-wires, the first main wire continuously extends along a first direction, and the first sub-wires are electrically connected with the first main wire. The second wire-like electrode includes at least a second main wire, and the second main wire continuously extends along a second direction different from the first direction. Moreover, the first wire-like electrode and the second wire-like electrode are electrically insulated from each other and each is made of an opaque conductive material. The second main line is arranged crossing over the first main wire. Furthermore, a capacitive touch apparatus using the above-mentioned capacitive touch sensor is provided.

Capacitive touch sensor and capacitive touch apparatus

A sensing display device including a display panel and a sensing element is provided. The display panel includes at least a plurality of pixel units, and the pixel units are arranged along a primary direction. The sensing element is disposed on the pixel units and includes at least a plurality of sensor units. Each of the sensor units includes a mesh-pattern electrode, and the mesh-pattern electrode includes a plurality of first traces having conductivity. At least one of the first traces is substantially extended along a first direction, wherein a first angle is formed between the first direction and the primary direction, and the first angle is an acute angle.

Sensing display device

A capacitive touch display panel includes a display panel, an outer substrate, and a capacitive touch device. The capacitive touch device is disposed between the outer substrate and the display panel. The capacitive touch device includes a plurality of first transparent electrodes, at least one transparent bridge line, a plurality of second transparent electrodes, at least one non-transparent bridge line, and at least one patterned low reflective layer. The patterned low reflective layer is disposed on an opposite side of the non-transparent bridge line with respect to the display panel. The patterned low reflective layer and the non-transparent bridge line are overlapped to each other in a vertical projective direction.

Capacitive touch display panel

The present invention relates to a capacitive touch panel. In one embodiment, the capacitive touch panel includes a plurality of driving electrodes and a plurality of sensing electrodes spatially arranged in a matrix, and a driver electrically coupled to the touch sensor matrix and configured to generate a driving signal to synchronically drive one or more driving electrodes and the sensing electrodes, such that at least one sensing electrode is not driven by the driving signal. The remaining driving electrodes are grounded. The not-driven sensing electrodes sense and transmit a sensing signal of a touch.

Capacitive touch device and method of driving same

A touch panel display including a first substrate, a second substrate, a display medium and a touch device is provided. The first substrate has a display area and a peripheral area. The first substrate has a pixel array in the display area and at least one integrated driving circuit in the peripheral area. The integrated driving circuit is electrically connected to the pixel array. The second substrate is disposed above the first substrate to cover the integrated driving circuit and the pixel array. The display medium is disposed on the pixel array and located between the first substrate and the second substrate. The touch device is disposed on the second substrate, and has a sensor element and a wiring element connected to the sensor element. The sensor element is located above the pixel array and the wiring element is located above at least a portion of the integrated driving circuit.

Touch panel display

A touch sensing display panel includes an active device array substrate, an opposite substrate, a display medium layer, a plurality of inner and outer electrode series. The opposite substrate is disposed over the active device array substrate and the display medium layer is disposed between the active device array substrate and the opposite substrate. The inner electrode series are disposed on the opposite substrate and extend along a first direction, wherein each inner electrode series includes inner ring electrodes electrically connected to each other. The outer electrode series are disposed on the opposite substrate and extend along a second direction, wherein each outer electrode series includes outer ring electrodes electrically connected to each other. Each inner ring electrodes is respectively surrounded by one of the outer ring electrodes, and the first direction is substantially perpendicular to the second direction. The present invention also provides a touch sensing substrate.

Touch sensing display panel and touch sensing substrate

The present invention relates to a multi-channel touch panel. In one embodiment, the multi-channel touch panel includes a plurality of driving electrodes spatial-separately arranged in the form of a matrix, a plurality of sensing electrodes associated with the plurality of driving electrodes such that each sensing electrode is surrounded by a corresponding driving electrode, N driving lines spatial-separately arranged along a row direction and M pairs of sensing lines spatial-separately arranged crossing over the N driving lines along a column direction, where each driving electrode in the row of the electrode matrix is electrically connected to each other by a corresponding driving line, and each odd sensing electrode in a column of the electrode matrix is electrically connected to each other by a first sensing line of the corresponding paired sensing lines, and each even sensing electrode in the column of the electrode matrix is electrically connected to each other by a second sensing line of the corresponding paired sensing lines.
