A safety design method for an electromagnetic flowmeter is provided. The method includes following steps: providing an electromagnetic flowmeter including a measuring pipeline allowing a working fluid to flow through therein and a power supply module; defining a first explosion-proof hazardous area for containing the power supply module in the electromagnetic flowmeter; defining a second explosion-proof hazardous area for containing the measuring pipeline in the electromagnetic flowmeter; and separating the first explosion-proof hazardous area from the second explosion-proof hazardous area.

Safety design method of electromagnetic flowmeter

An electromagnetic flowmeter includes a measurement tube having a mounting tube liner and a control module installed in an outer side of the measurement tube. A magnetic field module is installed in an outer side being orthogonal to a shaft of the measurement tube without contacting the working fluid. An electrode structure is disposed on an outer surface of the measurement tube and partially extended in the mounting tube liner to contact the working fluid. The actuator element is electrically connected with the control module and connected with the electrode structure. The actuator element is driven by an external force to drive the electrode structure toward the mounting tube liner inside and being orthogonal to the mounting tube liner for compensating the wear of the electrode structure so as to obtain a correct measurement result and increase the service life.

Electromagnetic flowmeter with adjustable electrode structures

An electromagnetic flowmeter with voltage-amplitude conductivity-sensing function for a liquid in a tube includes a first microprocessor, a transducer, flow-sensing device, an exciting-current generating device, a voltage-amplitude conductivity-sensing device, and a switch. The transducer includes coils and sensing electrodes. The switch is electrically connected to the first microprocessor and the sensing electrode. The switch is selectively connected to the flow-sensing device or the voltage-amplitude conductivity-sensing device according to the signals sent from the microprocessor. The microprocessor drives the exciting-current generating device to generate an exciting current when the switch is connected to the flow-sensing device. The microprocessor stops the exciting-current generating device from generating exciting current and computing conductivity of liquid when the switch is electrically connected to the voltage-amplitude conductivity-sensing device.

An electromagnetic flowmeter with variable-frequency conductivity-sensing function for a liquid in a tube includes a first microprocessor, a transducer, flow-sensing device, an exciting-current generating device, a variable-frequency conductivity measuring device, and a switch. The transducer includes coils and sensing electrodes. The switch is electrically connected to the first microprocessor and the sensing electrodes. The switch is selectively connected to the flow-sensing device or the variable-frequency conductivity measuring device according to the signals sent from the first microprocessor. The microprocessor makes the exciting-current generating device to generate an exciting current when the switch is connected to the flow-sensing device. The first microprocessor makes the exciting-current generating device stop to generate exciting current and computes conductivity of liquid when the switch is electrically connected to the variable-frequency conductivity-sensing device.
