An electronic device includes an operational component, a heat conductive component and an airflow generating package. The operational component produces a heat while operating. The heat conductive component is configured to conduct the heat generated by the operational component, wherein the operational component is disposed on the heat conductive component. The airflow generating package is disposed by an edge of the electronic device. The airflow generating package includes a film structure, the film structure includes a flap pair, and the flap pair includes a first flap and a second flap. The flap pair operates at an ultrasonic rate to produce an airflow. The heat conductive component extends toward the airflow generating package, such that the airflow generated by the airflow generating package flows through the heat conductive component, so as to dissipate the heat generated from the operational component through the heat conductive component.

A sound producing cell includes a membrane and an actuating layer. The membrane includes a first membrane subpart and a second membrane subpart, wherein the first membrane subpart and the second membrane subpart are opposite to each other. The actuating layer is disposed on the first membrane subpart and the second membrane subpart. The first membrane subpart includes a first anchored edge which is fully or partially anchored, and edges of the first membrane subpart other than the first anchored edge are non-anchored. The second membrane subpart includes a second anchored edge which is fully or partially anchored, and edges of the second membrane subpart other than the second anchored edge are non-anchored.

Sound producing cell

A venting device includes an anchor structure and a membrane. The membrane is anchored on the anchor structure and configured to form a first vent and a second vent. The membrane includes a first flap, a second flap and a third flap. The membrane partitions a space into a first volume and a second volume, and the first volume and the second volume are connected when the first vent and the second vent are formed. The first flap is actuated to move toward a first direction and the second flap is actuated to move toward a second direction opposite to the first direction, so as to form the first vent. The first flap is actuated to move toward the first direction and the third flap is actuated to move toward the second direction opposite to the first direction, so as to form the second vent.

A cell includes a membrane and an actuating layer. The membrane includes a first membrane subpart and a second membrane subpart, wherein the first membrane subpart and the second membrane subpart are opposite to each other. The actuating layer is disposed on the first membrane subpart and the second membrane subpart. The first membrane subpart includes a first anchored edge which is fully or partially anchored, and edges of the first membrane subpart other than the first anchored edge are non-anchored. The second membrane subpart includes a second anchored edge which is fully or partially anchored, and edges of the second membrane subpart other than the second anchored edge are non-anchored.

Sound producing cell and manufacturing method thereof

A crossover circuit, disposed within a sound producing device including a first sound producing cell driven by a first driving signal and a second sound producing cell driven by a second driving signal, includes a first filter receiving an input signal at an input terminal of the first filter, a first subtraction circuit, and a second filter coupled between the output terminal of the first filter and the second input terminal of the first subtraction circuit. A first input terminal of the first subtraction circuit is coupled to the input terminal of the first filter; a second input terminal of the first subtraction circuit is coupled to an output terminal of the first filter. The crossover circuit produces the first driving signal and the second driving signal according to a first output signal of the first subtraction circuit and a second output signal of the first filter respectively.

Crossover circuit

A package structure includes a housing and a sound producing chip. The sound producing chip is disposed within the housing. The sound producing chip includes a membrane and an actuator. The membrane includes a coupling plate and a spring structure connected to the coupling plate. The actuator is configured to receive a driving signal to actuate the membrane. The spring structure is situated between the coupling plate and the actuator. The coupling plate is actuated to move by the actuator via the spring structure.

Package structure and methods of manufacturing sound producing chip, forming package structure and forming sound producing apparatus

A sound producing device includes a first sound producing cell, driven by a first driving signal and configured to produce a first acoustic sound on a first audio band, and a second sound producing cell, driven by a second driving signal and configured to produce a second acoustic sound on a second audio band different from the first audio band. A first membrane of the first sound producing cell and a second membrane of the second sound producing cell are Micro Electro Mechanical System fabricated membranes. The first audio band is upper bounded by a first maximum frequency; the second audio band is upper bounded by a second maximum frequency. A first resonance frequency of the first membrane is higher than the first maximum frequency of the first driving signal. A second resonance frequency of the second membrane is higher than the second maximum frequency of the second driving signal.

Sound producing device

A sound producing device includes a base and at least one chip disposed on the base. The chip includes at least one membrane and at least one actuator. The membrane includes a coupling plate and at least one spring structure connected to the coupling plate. The actuator is configured to receive a driving signal corresponding to an input audio signal to actuate the membrane, and the input audio signal and the driving signal have an input audio band which has an upper bound at a maximum frequency. The spring structure is situated between the coupling plate and the actuator. The membrane has a first resonance frequency higher than the maximum frequency.

A method for manufacturing an air pulse generating element is provided. First, a thin film layer including a membrane is provided, and then, a plurality of actuators are formed on the thin film layer. After that, a first chamber is formed between the thin film layer and a first plate and followed by patterning the thin film layer to form a plurality of valves, in which the membrane and the valves are formed of the thin film layer. Subsequently, a second chamber is formed between the thin film layer and a second plate, and a plurality of channels are formed in the first plate and the second plate.

Method for manufacturing air pulse generating element

An air pulse generating element is disclosed. The air pulse generating element includes a front faceplate; a back faceplate; a front supporting element; a back supporting element; a folded membrane, configured to form a front chamber and a back chamber, and comprising a plurality of membrane units; wherein the plurality of membrane units are parallel and sequentially connected and an end of the folded membrane is connected to the back faceplate via the back supporting element and another end of the folded membrane is connected to the front faceplate via the front supporting element; and a plurality of valves controlling a plurality of air flow channels between the front chamber toward either a front space or a back space; wherein the plurality of membrane units are configured to perform horizontal deformation to squeeze air in and out of the front or back chamber with operations of the plurality of valves.
