A method for controlling an antenna array is provided, which includes following steps. Associations with a plurality of mobile devices are established, and at least one characteristic parameter table corresponding to the mobile devices is generated. When a plurality of transmission request signals are received simultaneously and the mobile devices are divided into a user group, a multi-user antenna index of the antenna array is generated based on the at least one characteristic parameter table, and a plurality of data streams corresponding to the mobile devices are transmitted simultaneously through the antenna array. When the transmission request signals are received simultaneously and the mobile devices are not divided into the user group, a single-user antenna index of the antenna array is generated based on the at least one characteristic parameter table, and the data streams corresponding to the mobile devices are transmitted one-by-one through the antenna array.

Wireless communication device and method for controlling antenna array

A channel estimation system and method thereof is provided. By utilizing the nature of the millimeter-wave channel with sparse path, the channel estimation problem is transformed from estimating the entire channel matrix to estimating independent parameters of the millimeter-wave channel. These parameters are angle of arrival (AoA) and angle of departure (AoD), and complex gain of the channel paths.

A radio frequency signal processing method for a wireless communication device, which includes an omni-directional antenna and a plurality of directional antennas, includes receiving a request signal from a first sending node with the omni-directional antenna, sending a confirming signal to the first sending node with the omni-directional antenna, receiving a data signal from the first sending node with a first directional antenna of the plurality of directional antennas according to the request signal and a result of a training packet process, transmitting an acknowledge signal to the first sending node with the first directional antenna, and receiving follow-up signals with the omni-directional antenna. Radio frequency signal processing method and wireless communication device

A reader is provided, including a power amplifier (PA), a low-noise amplifier (LNA), a circulator, an auto-tuning matching network, and a control circuit. The PA emits a first RF transmission signal. The LNA transmits a first RF induced signal corresponding to the first RF transmission signal. The circulator is coupled between the PA and LNA, transmits the first RF transmission signal to an RF connection terminal or receives the first RF induced signal from the RF connection terminal. The auto-tuning matching network is coupled to the circulator, matches impedances between the circulator and the RF connection terminal. The control circuit is coupled to the auto-tuning matching network, adjusts the auto-tuning matching network to match impedances between the circulator and the RF connection terminal.

A channel estimation method is provided. The method includes the following steps of: receiving an input symbol of an input signal and obtaining several pilot channel gains through calculation; executing an operation of interpolation on the pilot channel gains by a Wiener filter to obtain several data channel gains through calculation; calculating an adaptive alteration for the first and second multi-path statistical characteristic parameters according to the data channel gains and the pilot channel gains, and accordingly having the first and the second multi-path statistical characteristic parameters adjusted; generating an updated Wiener filter according to the adjusted first and second multi-path statistical characteristic parameters to execute an operation of channel estimation on a next input symbol of the input signal.
