A metal-ion battery is provided. The metal-ion secondary battery includes a first chamber, a second chamber, and a control element. A positive electrode, a negative electrode, a separator disposed between the positive electrode and the negative electrode, and a first electrolyte are disposed within the first chamber. A second electrolyte is disposed within the second chamber, and wherein components and/or concentration of the first electrolyte are different from those of the second electrolyte. The control element determines whether to introduce the second electrolyte disposed within the second chamber into the first chamber via a first pipeline.

Metal-ion battery

A metal-ion secondary battery is provided. The metal-ion secondary battery includes a positive electrode. The positive electrode includes at least one current-collecting layer and at least one active layer, wherein the current-collecting layer and the active layer are mutually stacked, and the current-collecting layer has at least one first through-hole.

Metal-ion secondary battery

An electrode and a device employing the same are provided. The electrode includes a main body, and an active material. The main body includes a cavity and is made of a conductive network structure. In particular, the active material is disposed in the cavity, wherein the length of the longest side of the particle of the active material is greater than the length of the longest side of the pore of the conductive network structure such that the active material is confined in the conductive network structure.

Electrode and device employing the same

An electrolyte composition and an energy storage device employing the same are provided. The electrolyte composition includes a solid and a solution. The solid includes a core and a metal layer encapsulating the core, where the metal layer is selected from a group consisting of Zn, Al, Mg, Li, Na and the metal oxides thereof. In particular, the solid has a first density and the solution has a second density, and the ratio between the first density and the second density is from about 0.97 to 1.03.

Electrolyte composition, and energy storage device employing the same

A metal-ion battery is provided. The metal-ion secondary battery includes a positive electrode, a first negative electrode, a first separator, a second negative electrode, a second separator, and a control element, wherein the first separator is disposed between the positive electrode and the first negative electrode, and the second separator is disposed between the first negative electrode and the second negative electrode. Furthermore, the control element is coupled to the first negative electrode and the second negative electrode, wherein the control element determines whether to electrically connect the first negative electrode to the second negative electrode.

A metal-ion battery are provided. The disclosure provides a metal-ion battery. The metal-ion battery includes a positive electrode; a negative electrode, wherein the negative electrode is a metal or an alloy thereof, the metal is Cu, Fe, Zn, Co, In, Ni, Sn, Cr, La, Y, Ti, Mn, or Mo; a separator, wherein the positive electrode is separated from the negative electrode by the separator; and an electrolyte, disposed between the positive electrode and the negative electrode. With coordination of metal cover layers and metal layers, interferences between cable and electronic equipments are prevented. A method for fabricating a bi-polar plate of a fuel cell and the bi-polar plate thereof are presented. A graphite film is formed first. Next, a polymeric material added with electrically conductive powder is coated on a surface of a metal substrate. The graphite film is disposed on the polymeric material and the polymeric material is hardened to form an adhesive layer, such that the graphite film is attached on the surface of the metal substrate.

Method for fabricating bi-polar plate of fuel cell

A fuel cell module may include a membrane electrode assembly, two gas diffusion layers, two current collectors, two sealing members, a fluid flow plate assembly. The fluid flow plate assembly may include a first manifold, a second manifold, and a fluid flow channel. The membrane electrode assembly may include at least one membrane for fuel cell reactions. The two gas diffusion layers may be respectively coupled with two opposite sides of the membrane electrode assembly. The two current collectors respectively coupled with the two gas diffusion layers, and the two sealing members respectively coupled with the two current collectors. The fluid flow plate assembly may be coupled with the membrane electrode assembly at a first side of the two opposite sides of the membrane electrode assembly, with at least a corresponding one of the two gas diffusion layers, at least a corresponding one of the two current collectors, and at least a corresponding one of the two sealing members coupled between the fluid flow plate assembly and the first side of the membrane electrode.
