An image display system includes a display device, a second memory circuit, and an image processor circuit. The display device includes a panel and a first memory circuit, in which the first memory circuit is configured to store first predetermined data for controlling the panel. The second memory circuit is configured to store second predetermined data. The image processor circuit is configured to read first part data in the first predetermined data and second part data in the second predetermined data and compare the first part data with the second part data. If the first part data is identical to the second part data, the image processor circuit is further configured to output a driving signal according to the second predetermined data to control the panel to start displaying an image.

The video information generator detects a plurality of continuous frames wherein the continuous frames include a current frame and a previous frame. When a second value of the current frame is different from a first value of the previous frame having the same position as that of the second value, the video information generator generates first video information; When the second value of the current frame is the same as the first value of the previous frame having the same position as that of the second value, the video information generator generates second video information. The over drive circuit generates a first target value which is a value between the first value and the second value according to the first video information, and uses the first target value to replace the second value of the current frame; or the overdrive circuit generates a second target value according to the second video information, and uses the second target value to replace the second value of the current frame.

An image processing apparatus includes a gradient calculation unit, a direction determining unit, a directional interpolation unit, and a blender unit. The gradient calculation unit processes an input image to generate gradient magnitudes and gradient angles associated with input pixels of the input image. The direction determining unit generates interpolation angles and directional confidence values according to the gradient magnitudes and gradient angles. The directional interpolation unit performs directional interpolation on the input image according to the interpolation angles, so as to generate a first image with an image resolution different from the input image. A 2D to 3D image conversion apparatus includes a data queue, a conversion unit and an offset calculation unit. The data queue receives and temporarily stores an input data value corresponding to a current pixel. The conversion unit outputs a current offset table corresponding to a current depth parameter of the current pixel. The current offset table includes (m+1) reference offsets corresponding to the current pixel and neighboring m pixels. In an interlaced image processing method for processing fields generated by interlacing and including a plurality of rows of scan signals, the method includes: performing horizontal line detection on a current field so as to determine which of the rows of the scan signals is a horizontal line; according to the horizontal line detection result of the current field and a horizontal line detection result of a previous field, adjusting position of the horizontal line in the current field so as to approach position of a corresponding horizontal line in the previous field; and according to the result of position adjustment, re-sampling the current field. An interlaced image processing apparatus for implementing the method is also disclosed.
