A foldable display device, including a display panel, a pad portion, and a driving element, is provided. The display panel has a display region and a peripheral region connected to at least one side of the display region. The pad portion is disposed in the peripheral region. The driving element is electrically connected to the pad portion. A first display region folding line, extending along a first direction, is provided in the display region to divide the display region into a first sub-display region and a second sub-display region. A first peripheral region folding line and a second peripheral region folding line, extending along a second direction, are parallelly disposed in the peripheral region. A first notch is disposed at a position in the peripheral region. Along the first direction, the first notch has a first folding interval. Along the second direction, the first notch has a second folding interval.

Foldable display device

A display panel including a first array substrate, a first pad, and a second pad is provided. The first array substrate includes a first substrate, a first active element, a first display element, and a second display element. The first active element is disposed on the top surface of the first substrate. The first display element and the second display element are disposed on the top surface of the first substrate. The first display element is electrically connected to the first active element. The first pad and the second pad are disposed on the bottom surface of the first substrate. The first active element is electrically connected to the first pad. Each of the first pad and the second pad includes an embedded part and a protruded part. A flexible display including a buffer layer, a plurality of pixel structures, a plurality of first pads, a plurality of first conductive through holes, a flexible circuit board and an adhesive layer is provided. The pixel structures are disposed on a first surface of the buffer layer. The first pads are disposed on a second surface of the buffer layer. The first conductive through holes are embedded in the buffer layer. The first pads are respectively electrically connected to the pixel structures through the first conductive through holes. The adhesive layer is disposed between the second surface of the buffer layer and the flexible circuit board. An orthogonal projection of the adhesive layer on the buffer layer overlaps an orthogonal projection of the pixel structures on the buffer layer. The first pads are electrically connected to first signal lines of the flexible circuit board.

Flexible display

The disclosure provides a display panel including first pixel structures, second pixel structures, first signal lines, second signal lines, a first driving circuit, and a second driving circuit. The first signal lines and the first pixel structures are disposed in a first display area and electrically connected. The second signal lines and the second pixel structures are disposed in a second display area and electrically connected. The first display area and the second display area are arranged in a first direction. The first signal lines and the second signal lines are arranged in a second direction. The first direction and the second direction are perpendicular. The first signal lines and the second signal lines are structurally separated. The first drive circuit is electrically connected to the first signal lines. The second driving circuit is electrically independent from the first driving circuit and electrically connected to the second signal lines.

Display panel

A display panel including a first array substrate, a first pad, and a second pad is provided. The first array substrate includes a first substrate, a first active element, a first display element, and a second display element. The first substrate has a top surface and a bottom surface disposed opposite to each other. The first active element is disposed on the top surface of the first substrate. The first display element is disposed on the top surface of the first substrate and is electrically connected to the first active element. The second display element is disposed on the top surface of the first substrate and is disposed separately from the first display element. The first pad and the second pad are disposed on the bottom surface of the first substrate, wherein the first active element is electrically connected to the first pad, each of the first pad and the second pad includes an embedded part and a protruded part, the embedded part is located in the first substrate, and the protruded part is protruded from the bottom surface of the first substrate.

A display device includes a pixel circuit substrate, a plurality of light emitting devices, a driver circuit substrate, a plurality of connection terminals, and an electrically conductive adhesion layer. The light emitting devices are electrically connected to the pixel circuit substrate. The driver circuit substrate is disposed on a back side of the pixel circuit substrate. The connection terminals electrically connect the driver circuit substrate to the pixel circuit substrate. The electrically conductive adhesion layer is disposed between the pixel circuit substrate and the driver circuit substrate.

Display device

A display device including a first substrate, pixel structures, a second substrate, first signal lines, and second signal lines is provided. The pixel structures are disposed on a first surface of the first substrate. Each of the pixel structures includes a switch element and a pixel electrode. The switch element has a first terminal, a second terminal, and a control terminal. The pixel electrode is electrically connected to the second terminal of the switch element. The second substrate is disposed under a second surface of the first substrate. The first signal lines and the second signal lines are disposed on the second substrate. The first terminals and the control terminals of the switch elements of the pixel structures are respectively electrically connected to the first signal lines and the second signal lines, wherein the first signal lines are substantially parallel to the second signal lines.

A display device structure includes a back film, a display panel attached on the back film, and at least one antenna. The display panel defines a central area and a peripheral area on the back film. The antenna may be a 5G antenna, and is disposed on the peripheral area of the back film. The peripheral area of the back film is folded toward a back side of the display device structure. The display device may be disposed in a housing, which has a dielectric window located at a side surface thereof, such that each of the at least one antenna disposed on the folded peripheral area directly faces the dielectric window.

A manufacturing method of a light-emitting device including the following steps is provided. A test trace and a first signal trace are formed on a first substrate. A light-emitting element electrically connected to the test trace and the first signal trace is formed. A test procedure is performed on the light-emitting element via the test trace and the first signal trace. An encapsulation layer is formed on the first substrate to cover the light-emitting element. The test trace is removed, and then a driving unit electrically connected to light-emitting element is formed.

Gate driving circuit and display device having the same

A shift register circuit includes first-type and second-type shift registers, each comprising a pull-down control circuit, a pull-down circuit, a key pull-down circuit, a 3D-mode pull-up circuit, and a 2D-mode pull-up circuit. The pull-down circuit is connected to the pull-down control circuit. The key pull-down circuit, connected to the pull-down circuit, pulls down a driving signal and a gate control signal. When the 2D-mode pull-up circuit operates, a first-type shift register generates a driving signal for a second-type shift register. When the 3D-mode pull-up circuit operates, a first-type shift register generates another driving signal for another first-type shift register.

Shift register circuit

A method for use in a display panel is disclosed. The method includes providing M bus lines in the bus area for receiving a plurality of clock signals, M being a positive integer greater than 3; providing a plurality of signal lines to separately provide the clock signals from the M bus line to the circuit area, the circuit area configured to provide the plurality of sequential gate line signals in response to the clock signals, the plurality of signal lines including a plurality of adjacent signal-line pairs, each adjacent signal-line pair having a resistance difference, said signal lines including a maximum resistance value and a minimum resistance value, and wherein the M bus lines are arranged such that the resistance difference in any one of the adjacent signal-line pairs is smaller than a value difference between the maximum resistance value and the minimum resistance value.

Bus-line arrangement in a gate driver

Disclosed is a driver circuit structure integrated in a display panel. The driver circuit structure includes a plurality of transistors and a backup transistor. After completing the driver circuit structure, the disclosure inspects it to find an inactive transistor. The inspection process first, isolates the electrical connection between the inactive transistor and the first electrode line and/or the electrical connection between the inactive transistor and the second electrode line. Next, the source electrode of the backup transistor and the first electrode line and/or electrically connecting the drain electrode of the backup transistor and the second electrode line are electrical connected.

Method for repairing driver circuit structure

A display apparatus and a method for generating gate signal thereof are provided. The display apparatus includes a timing controller and a display panel. The timing controller is used for providing a plurality of timing signals. The display panel includes a pixel array and a gate drive circuit. The pixel array has a plurality of pixels. The gate drive circuit is electrically connected to the timing controller and the pixel array and including a plurality of shift register circuits. The shift register circuit includes a first shift register and a second shift register. The first shift register is configured for generating a corresponding primary gate signal. The second shift register is configured for generating a corresponding secondary gate signal. The timing controller adjusts overlapping relations of the timing signals according to a frame rate of the display apparatus.
