A method for generating images with high dynamic range (HDR) based on multiple images captured at different aperture values, under different conditions, or at different shutter speeds is applied in a device. The method inputs the original multiple images into a predetermined model and aligns the multiple images. The method further confirms object images that need to be attended among multiple aligned images and obtains a merge weighting for each of the object images, and merges the images for a generated HDR according to the merge weighting of each image. The device utilizing the method is also disclosed.

A method for acquiring shadow-free images of a document for scanning or other purposes is applied in a device. The method includes training a shadow prediction model based on sample documents of a sample library and inputting a background color and a shadow mask of each of the sample documents extracted by the shadow prediction model into a predetermined shadow removing network for training, to obtain a shadow removing model. The method further includes obtaining a background color and a shadow mask of the document through the shadow prediction model and removing the shadows of the document based on the shadow removing model. The device utilizing the method is also disclosed.

An electronic device used in a method for expanding image depth obtains first images by a first sensor, the first images comprising depth information. The electronic device obtains second images by a second sensor, the second images comprising gradient information, and the first images correspond to the second images. The electronic device determines the pixels in the first images which contain expandable content according to the gradient information of the second images, applies expansion accordingly to the pixels in the first images to generate third images, and generate target depth maps according to the gradient information of the second images and the depth information of the third images.

A method for recognition of characters by optical means in an unclear or non-optimal image of an object document, the image carrying shadows or other impediments inputs the document into a shadow prediction model to obtain a shadow mask. A determination is made as to whether the shadow mask of the document affect an optical character recognition (OCR) performance. The method further inputs the document into a shadow removing model for removal of shadows to obtain an intermediate document if the shadow mask are deemed to affect the OCR performance, then OCR can then be performed on the final object document.

The method includes detecting a moving object and a moving direction of the moving object by using at least one external sensor when a vehicle is moving. Once the moving direction of the moving object is not parallel to a moving direction of the vehicle and a sight direction of the driver does not cross the moving direction of the moving object, a first warning is transmitted.

A method for generating dynamic images applied to a computer device includes obtaining a depth image of a static image. A preset region of the depth image is converted into a histogram and an average depth value D is calculated therefrom. A first depth value d1 and a second depth value d2 are determined from the histogram according to the average depth value D. M numbers of third depth values d3 are calculated according to the first depth value d1 and the second depth value d2. Once M number of blurred images are generated according to each M number of third depth values d3, the M number of blurred images are played back according to a magnitude of the third depth value d3 corresponding to each of the M number of blurred images.

A method for dividing an image obtains the image by captured and a depth map of the image. The method creates a histogram of the depth map including horizontal and vertical axes. A clustering algorithm is applied to the data in the histogram to determine upon two data clusters and the cluster centers of the two clusters. The method determines that the abscissa value of the smallest ordinate value between two cluster centers in the histogram is a segmentation threshold. If the obtained segmentation threshold meets a preset condition, the image is segmented into a foreground region and a background region. Once a transmission map t(x) is calculated based on the d(x), haze is removed from the image based on the transmission map t(x).

A printing head module for a 3-D printing apparatus includes a 3-D print head, an ink-jet print head and a baking module. The 3-D print head includes a melting module and a base-material nozzle to print a plurality of staking layers. The ink-jet print head is connected to the 3-D print head and includes an ink nozzle to dispense ink on each stacking layer. The baking module is disposed between the 3-D print head and the ink-jet print head and includes a fan, a discharge casing and a heating module. The fan includes an air-discharge side facing the base to provide an air flow. The discharge casing is disposed on the air-discharge side. The heating module is disposed between the fan and the discharge casing to heat the air flow and the heated air flow being blown out via the discharge casing for drying the ink layer.

A method of slicing and printing a colour 3D model is disclosed. The method includes following steps: loading a model data corresponding to a colour 3D model; adding a pollution-blocking structure next to the colour 3D model; executing a slicing process to the pollution-blocking structure and the colour 3D model for generating a plurality of pollution-blocking slices and a plurality of model slices and configuring colour of each of the model slices; and, controlling a modeling nozzle () of a multi-colour 3D printer () to print the pollution-blocking slices and the model slices layer by layer and controlling a coloring nozzle () of the multi-colour 3D printer () to color each of the model slices.

Method of slicing and printing colour 3D model

An alignment method adopted by a 3D printer having a 3D nozzle for jetting material and a 2D pen-module for jetting colored ink is disclosed. The 3D printer first controls the 3D nozzle to print an alignment template on a printing platform, wherein the alignment template comprises multiple alignment blocks respectively and separately printed along an axis, and each alignment block respectively deviates from each center-line according to an accumulated offset. Next, the 3D printer controls the 2D pen-module to print an ink matrix on the alignment template, wherein the ink matrix comprises multiple ink blocks respectively and separately printed along the same axis, and each ink block is exactly corresponding to each center-line respectively. The 3D printer uses covering status of each alignment block and each ink block to determine a deviation between the 3D nozzle and the 2D pen-module, so as to perform an alignment action thereupon.

The scanning module () is arranged on the device body (), the scanning module () is electrically connected with a control module (), and the control module () is electrically connected with a nozzle assembly () and a pen assembly (). A 3D data is loaded in the control module () and a predetermined painting position is defined in the 3D data. The control module () receives a scan image from the scanning module (); the control module () controls the nozzle assembly () to print a model () according to the 3D data and meanwhile controls the pen assembly () to paint on the model () according to the predetermined painting position and the scan image.
