The present invention is related to a light emission or a luminescent material and applications thereof. The said material comprises a spherical core, a spherical shell deposited at outer surface of the spherical core, and further a rod shell deposited at outer surface of the spherical shell. The said spherical core comprises Indium phosphide particle with substantially spherical appearance or condition. The said spherical shell comprises Cadmium selenium deposited at outer surface of the spherical core with corresponded spherical appearance or condition. The rod shell comprises cadmium sulfide deposited at outer surface of the spherical shell with its structure extended in lengthwise longer than crosswise to a rod appearance or condition. The luminescent material provided by the present invention has a Type II NCs structure using cadmium selenium as the spherical shell to emit near-infrared light. The present invention provides InP/CdS/CeSe in core/shell/shell structure as luminescent material which has extra-broadband VIS-NIR emitting abilities.

Light emission material and applications thereof

A quantum dot material and a method of manufacturing quantum dot materials are provided. The method comprises a step of providing a quantum dot solution and a silicon compound, a step of introducing the quantum dot solution and the silicon compound to a cross-linking agent and an ammonia solution (NHOH) for cross-linking reaction, and a step of obtaining a quantum dot material coated with a silicon oxide (SiO) material.

Quantum dot materials and method of manufacturing thereof

Composite hydrogel films for contact lenses and the methods of manufacturing are provided. The composite hydrogel films are formed by the following steps of: mixing a hydrogel precursor with nanospheres dispersed in a colloid; evaporating the solvent in the mixture; curing the hydrogel to form a composite hydrogel film having nanospheres arranged in amorphous arrays. The composite hydrogel films selectively reflect light in hazardous wavelengths.

Hydrogel-based contact lens and methods of manufacturing thereof

A projection apparatus is provided. The projection apparatus includes a light-emitting unit array, an optical sensor, and a control unit. The light-emitting unit array is for emitting an image beam. The optical sensor is for detecting electromagnetic waves so as to generate a signal. The control unit is electrically coupled to the light-emitting unit array and the optical sensor for controlling emission of the light-emitting unit array according to the signal from the optical sensor.

Imaging apparatus having an optical sensor

A new light emitting device is disclosed, including a polarizing surface layer, a light emitting layer which emits light at a wavelength, and a light transformation layer disposed between the light emitting layer and the reflective layer, wherein the light emitting layer is disposed between the reflective layer and the polarizing surface layer, and an optical thickness between the light emitting layer and the reflective layer is less than a value of five times of a quarter of the wavelength.
