A display device and a display method are provided. The display device includes a first touch pad and a first temperature sensing circuit. The first touch pad is configured to sense and generate a first touch signal. The first temperature sensing circuit is configured to sense and generate a first temperature sensing signal corresponding to an operating temperature. A multiplexer is coupled to the first touch pad and the first temperature sensing circuit through a common signal line. The multiplexer is configured to output the first touch signal and the first temperature sensing signal in different time intervals.

Display device and display method

A display device includes an in-cell touch display panel, a flexible printed circuit board, and a source driver. The in-cell touch display panel includes touch sensing electrodes, touch sensing pins, pixel electrodes, and source pins. The touch sensing pins are electrically connected to the touch sensing electrodes. The source pins are electrically connected to the pixel electrodes. The flexible circuit board includes dummy pads, touch sensing leads, input pads, output pads, and output signal leads. The touch sensing leads are electrically connected to the dummy pads and the touch sensing pins. The output signal leads are electrically connected to the output pads and the source pins. The source driver includes input terminals and output terminals. The input terminals are electrically connected to the input pads. The output terminals are electrically connected to the output pads. The source driver does not include a touch sensing terminal.

Display device with source driver having dummy terminals or common potential terminals

A data capture method and a data capture device are provided. The data capture method includes: receiving a data signal and a clock signal corresponding to the data signal; generating an auxiliary clock signal according to the clock signal, wherein phases of the clock signal and the auxiliary clock signal are different; sampling the data signal respectively according to the clock signal and the auxiliary clock signal to respectively obtain a plurality of data states and a plurality of edge sampling results; generating a plurality of pieces of edge information according to the data states and the corresponding edge sampling results, and performing an accumulation operation according to the edge information to generate a temporary value; and adjusting the clock signal according to the temporary value to generate an adjusted clock signal, and sampling the data signal according to the adjusted clock signal to obtain a plurality of transmission data.

Method and device of data capture

A driving method includes: allocating multiple pieces of channel data to multiple first channel groups and multiple second channel groups; determining, based on the multiple pieces of channel data, a largest gray scale value difference of two adjacent pieces of channel data of each of the first channel groups, to determine multiple drive currents; or determining, based on a first piece of data and a second piece of data that correspond to each of the multiple second channel groups in the multiple pieces of channel data, a first transient value and a second transient value that correspond to each of the multiple second channel groups, where the multiple drive currents are used to drive the first channel groups; and determining, based on the first transient value and the second transient value, whether at least one of the second channel groups performs a power saving operation.

Display apparatus and driving method therefor

In an exemplary flat display apparatus and control circuit and method for controlling the flat display apparatus, the flat display apparatus includes a plurality of gate driving units, each of which controls the operation of a scan line in the flat display apparatus. The flat display apparatus provides a first gate high level voltage signal and a second gate high level voltage signal to the gate driving units such that the first and second gate high level voltage signals are used as voltage signals transmitted to corresponding scan lines. The first and second gate high level voltage signals respectively include a falling edge with a slope. Duration time of the falling edge of the first gate high level voltage signal is longer than that of the falling edge of the second gate high level voltage signal.

Flat display apparatus and control circuit and method for controlling the same

A driving method for driving a display apparatus including a plurality of pixels, a plurality of data lines and a data driver. The data driver includes a first latch outputting a first sample data signal to a second latch, the second latch, a first charge sharing line and a second charge sharing line. The method includes performing a first charge sharing when a polarity of one of the pixels changes so as to output a first calibrated data signal to the data line electrically coupled to the pixel, and executing a second charge sharing when the most significant bit of the first sample data signal is different from the most significant bit of the second sample data signal so as to output a second adjusted data signal to the data line.

Data driver and display device driving method

In one aspect of the invention, a driving circuit has a PCB, a transmitter disposed on the PCB for providing an input signal, first and second transmission lines disposed on the PCB and electrically coupled to the transmitter for transmitting the input signal, and a plurality of source drivers formed in a COF architecture disposed between the PCB and the display panel. The input signal is an encoded signal including first and second Gamma reference voltages control signals, and image data. The first and second Gamma reference voltages are transmitted by the PLC technology through the first and second transmission lines, respectively. The driving circuit is implemented with differential transmission of the Gamma voltages, the image data and the control signals.

Driving circuit and display device of using same

A data receiver includes a serial-data processing module, a null-frequency detecting unit, a data checking unit, a status control unit and a timeout checking unit. The serial-data processing module receives serial data, generates an operation clock, parallel data and required data, and determines whether the operation clock is correct for accordingly generating a first result. The null-frequency detecting unit receives the operation clock and determines whether the operation clock is locked or null for accordingly generating a second result. The data checking unit is enabled according to the first result and determines whether checking data of the required data is correct for accordingly generating a third result. The status control unit outputs a frequency-locked signal and changes the signal state of the frequency-locked signal according to the first to third results. The enabled timeout checking unit resets the serial-data processing module according to the signal state of the frequency-locked signal.

Data receiver and data receiving method thereof

A display panel includes a switch control circuit, a first pre-charge switch circuit and a second pre-charge switch circuit. The switch control circuit is used for comparing the most significant bits (MSBs) of data signals to generate switch control signals for controlling the first and second pre-charge switch circuits, such that data lines are pre-charged through the first and second pre-charge switch circuits respectively. A method for driving a display panel is also provided herein.

Display panel with pre-charging operations, and method for driving the same

A control circuit for driving a display panel is disclosed. The control circuit includes a timing controller, outputting a timing control signal; and a driving module, electrically coupled to the timing controller and the display panel for driving the display panel in response to the timing control signal, and the timing controller is switchable to a modifying state according to a driving condition of the driving module. A control method for driving a display panel is also disclosed.

Control circuit of display panel and control method of the same

A source driving system includes first and second source driving integrated circuits. The first driving integrated circuit includes a first source driver for receiving first display data and driving pixels in a first block of a display panel according to the first display data. The second source driving integrated circuit includes a second source driver electrically connected to the first source driver for receiving second display data and driving pixels in a second block of the display panel according to the second display data. The first and the second source drivers generate first and second display parameters according to the first and the second display data respectively. The second display parameter is transmitted from the second source driver to the first source driver. The first source driver generates a third display parameter according to the first and second parameters and transmits the third display parameter to the second source driver.

Integrated source driving system

A display-driving structure for driving a display panel is disclosed. The display-driving structure includes a first circuit board, a second circuit board, a transmission wiring, a first circuit, a second circuit, first source driver circuits and second source driver circuits. The transmission wiring is connected between the first circuit board and the second circuit board. The first circuit is disposed on the first circuit board for generating a first signal. The second circuit is disposed on the second circuit board for generating a second signal. The first source driver circuits receive the first signal from the first circuit board, and further receive the second signal via the transmission wiring and the second circuit board. The second source driver circuits receive the second signal from the second circuit board, and further receive the first signal via the transmission wiring and the first circuit board.
