A light source module includes a substrate, a reflective sheet, a plurality of light-emitting elements, an adhesive layer, and a frame. The reflective sheet is disposed on the substrate and has a side wall, a protrusion and a plurality of openings. The protrusion is protruded in a direction away from the substrate and has a mesh structure to define a plurality of dimming areas. The plurality of openings respectively correspond to the plurality of dimming areas. The plurality of light-emitting elements are disposed on the substrate, and the plurality of light-emitting elements are respectively disposed to pass through the plurality of openings. The adhesive layer is disposed between the substrate and the reflective sheet. The frame surrounds the reflective sheet and the plurality of light-emitting elements. The side wall of the reflective sheet is disposed on the frame. A display device of the invention is further provided.

Light source module and display device

A backlight module includes a light guide member, a first light source, a second light source, a plurality of first optical microstructures, and a plurality of second optical microstructures. The light guide member has a first light incident surface and an adjacent second light incident surface. The first light source is disposed at one side of the first light incident surface and is configured to generate a first light beam. The second light source is disposed at one side of the second light incident surface and is configured to generate a second light beam. The first and the second optical microstructures are disposed at the light guide member and are configured to reflect the first and the second light beams. The reflected first light beam has a first light emitting angle range without a normal viewing angle range. A display apparatus using the backlight module is also provided.

Backlight module and display apparatus

An optical touch apparatus includes a light source, light guide unit, and optical detector. The light source next to the display area emits a beam. The light guide unit next to the display area and in the transmission path of the beam includes a light guide body and a Lambertian scattering structure. The light guide body has first, second, third, fourth, and light incident surfaces. The beam enters the light guide body through the light incident surface and is transmitted from the first surface to a sensing space in front of the display area. The Lambertian scattering structure is disposed on at least one of the second, third, and fourth surfaces for scattering the beam to the first surface. The optical detector next to the display area senses a change in light intensity of the beam in the sensing space. An optical touch display apparatus is also provided.

Optical touch apparatus having a light guide with scattering particles

An optical touch apparatus including a first light emitting device, a second light emitting device, a third light emitting device, a fourth light emitting device, a first image detector, a second image detector, and a control unit is provided. The control unit controls the average brightness of the third light emitting device less than each of the average brightness of the second light emitting device and the fourth light emitting device when the control unit controls the first image detector to detect an image. The control unit controls the average brightness of the second light emitting device less than each of the average brightness of the first light emitting device and the third light emitting device when the control unit controls the second image detector to detect an image. A driving method is also provided.

Optical touch apparatus and drive method to control an average brightness of LEDs

A flat light source module including a light guide plate, a flexible circuit board and a light emitting device is provided. The light guide plate has a light incident surface, a light exit surface and a bottom surface opposite to the light exit surface, wherein the light incident surface further includes a light incident curved surface, and the light incident curved surface is connected with the light exit surface and the bottom surface. The flexible circuit board is disposed beside the light incident curved surface along the light incident curved surface of the light guide plate. The light emitting device is disposed on the flexible circuit board, and the light emitting device has a light emitting surface facing the light incident curved surface.

Flat light source module

A projection screen includes a reflection layer, a light absorbing structure, a plurality of light diffusion layers, and a lens structure. The light absorbing structure is disposed on the reflection layer and has a plurality of apertures. A part of the reflection layer is exposed via the apertures. The light diffusion layers have a first index of refraction. Each of the light diffusion layer is disposed in the corresponding aperture and contacts the corresponding reflection layer exposed via the corresponding aperture. The lens structure is disposed on the light diffusion layers and the light absorbing structure. A light incidence side of the lens structure includes a plurality of convex lenses. The convex lenses are respectively corresponding with the light diffusion layers. The lens structure has a second index of refraction, and the second index of refraction is smaller than the first index of refraction.

Projection screen

A screen of a projector having a substrate and a plurality of asymmetric optical structures is provided. There is a plurality of light absorbing zones and a plurality of reflective zones alternatively disposed on a surface of the substrate facing the projector. The asymmetric optical structures are disposed on the surface of the substrate and correspond to the reflective zones, respectively. The asymmetric optical structure has a first curved surface and a second curved surface, and the first curved surface protrudes toward the projector for converging an incident light from the projector on the reflective zone, and the second curved surface is disposed at a side of the first curved surface away from the projector for refracting a reflective light from the reflective zones toward the normal direction of the surface of the substrate.
