A transmission control protocol (TCP) flow control method is provided, which comprises: sending a data packet from a packet processor to a receiver and storing a copy of the data packet; receiving a current ACK packet with a current packet number; determining whether the current packet number is identical to a last packet number and whether a last substitute ACK packet generated by the input ACK filter exists; and performing steps respectively corresponding to different results of this determination to avoid TCP congestion control timely. A TCP flow control device performing the method is also disclosed.

An optical fiber scanning probe includes a rotor and at least one optical fiber. The rotor includes a torque rope rotatable about its central axis. The optical fiber is disposed on the rotor and eccentric relative to the torque rope. A central axis of the optical fiber is substantially parallel to the central axis of the torque rope. An optical probe for detecting a biological tissue includes a surface imaging module and a tomography capturing module. The surface imaging module captures and creates a surface image of the biological tissue, and at least includes a light source emitting a first detecting light. The tomography capturing module captures a tomography image of the biological tissue and receives a second detecting light. The first detecting light passes via a first optical path from the light source to an imaging sensor through the biological tissue, a telecentric lens, a first optical mirror, and a lens assembly in sequence. The second detecting light passes via a second optical path from a first collimator to the first collimator through a scanner, the first optical mirror, the telecentric lens, the biological tissue, the telecentric lens, the first optical mirror, the scanner, and the first collimator in sequence.

An electronic device including a self-propelled machine body and a portable machine body is provided. The self-propelled machine includes a moving module and has a first air flow channel. The portable machine body is detachably installed on the self-propelled machine body, and the portable machine body includes a suction motor. When the portable machine body is installed on the self-propelled machine body, the suction motor communicates with the first air flow channel, and the self-propelled machine body and the portable machine body are collectively actuated as a sweeping robot.

A biological sample processing device includes a base, a purification unit, a metering unit and a first tube. The purification unit is disposed on the base and is configured to purify a sample. The metering unit is disposed on the base and has an inlet, at least one metering trough and an overflow trough. The inlet is connected to the purification unit via the first tube, and the metering trough is connected between the inlet and the overflow trough. The sample from the purification unit is configured to enter the metering unit through the inlet to be moved toward the metering trough, and to be moved toward the overflow trough after the metering trough is filled with the sample.

A display device comprised of OLEDs and micro LEDs which allows for blue light degradation of the OLEDs includes a first substrate and a second substrate in a double-decked configuration. An automatic cleaning system including a charging base and a cleaning robot is provided. The charging base includes a signal transmitter and a power supply portion. The charging base determines whether to transmit a start signal by the signal transmitter according to a preset time. The cleaning robot includes a signal receiver and a power receiving portion. The power receiving portion is configured to be electrically connected to the power supply portion of the charging base when the cleaning robot performs a charging operation. When the signal receiver receives the start signal, the cleaning robot leaves the charging base, and performs a cleaning operation. The image capturing unit retrieves frames of a recognition target. The processor determines whether the mobile device is operatively connected to Internet. Also, the processor sends the frames to a recognition server via the Internet, and performs offline image recognition to the frames and displays the result of the offline image recognition on the display monitor when the mobile device is connected to the Internet, and receives a result of an online image recognition performed synchronously to the frames by the recognition server and displays the result of the online image recognition on the display monitor when the result of the online image recognition has a recognition value higher than a recognition value of the result of the offline image recognition.

A system and a method for multi-modal fusion based fault tolerant video content recognition is disclosed. The method conducts multi-modal recognition on an input video to extract multiple components and their respective appearance time in the video. Next, the multiple components are categorized and recognized respectively via different algorithms. Next, when the recognition confidence of any component is insufficient, a cross-validation with other components is performed to increase the recognition confidence and improve the fault tolerance of the components. Furthermore, when the recognition confidence of an individual component is insufficient, the recognition continues and tracks the component, spatially and temporally when it applies, until frames of high recognition confidence in the continuous time period is reached. Finally, multi-modal fusion is performed to summarize and resolve any recognition discrepancies between the multiple components, and to generate indices for every time frame for the ease of future text-based queries.

System and method for multi-modal fusion based fault-tolerant video content recognition

A computer-vision based automatic inserting and playing method for advertisement analyzes a video for obtaining multiple shots of the video, and obtaining semantic information related to targets appearing in each shot and low-level information related to vision of each shot. Next, the method matches the semantic information and the low-level information of each two adjacent shots with other semantic information and other low-level information of candidate advertisements, so as to determine one or more insertion time points of the video, and one or more inserting advertisements respectively related to each of the insertion time points. The matching of the semantic information ensures the inserting advertisement and a front shot and a rear shot of the insertion time point are all related with each other, and the matching of the low-level information enhances visual fluency in playing and switching among the front shot, the inserting advertisement and the rear shot.
