A touch panel having a cover plate, a sensor electrode layer, an insulating layer and a jumper layer is provided. The sensor electrode layer has first axis electrodes, second axis electrodes, bonding pads and first periphery traces. Each first axis electrode has first electrode blocks that are electrically connected to each other. Each second axis electrode has second electrode blocks that are electrically isolated from each other. The bonding pads are disposed on the periphery region of the cover plate. The first periphery traces are electrically connected to the bonding pads and the first axis electrodes or the second axis electrodes respectively. The insulating layer has first via holes and second via holes. The jumper layer has jumper traces and second periphery traces, wherein the second periphery traces are electrically connected to the first axis electrodes or the second axis electrodes through the first via holes.

Touch panel and manufacturing method thereof

An embodiment of the present disclosure provides a sensing electrode structure comprising a plurality of first axial electrodes and a plurality of second axial electrodes. The second axial electrodes and the first axial electrodes are formed on same side of a substrate and are electrically insulated from each other. Each of the first axial electrodes has a plurality of first conductive patterns with grid structures, and the first conductive patterns with grid structures are electrically connected with each other. Each of the second axial electrodes has a plurality of second conductive patterns with grid structures, and the second conductive patterns with grid structures are electrically connected with each other.

Sensing electrode structure and touch panel employing the same

The present invention relates to a method for scanning a projective capacitive touch panel. The method includes the following steps: scanning the mutual capacitance that are divided into at least two groups by applying different frequency excitation signals to different mutual capacitance groups, wherein a frequency of a excitation signal applied to a mutual capacitance group with greater RC constant is lower than that of a excitation signal applied to a mutual capacitance group with smaller RC constant; obtaining a first current voltage of each mutual capacitance; comparing the first current voltage with a first reference voltage to obtain candidate mutual capacitance whose first current voltage exceed the first reference voltage by a first threshold value; scanning the candidate mutual capacitance by applying a low frequency excitation signal; obtaining a second current voltage of each candidate mutual capacitance; comparing the second current voltage of each candidate mutual capacitance with a corresponding second reference voltage to obtain touched mutual capacitance whose second current voltage exceed the corresponding second reference voltage by a second threshold value.

Method for scanning projective capacitive touch panel

Disclosed is a touch position detection method for a touch control device, which employs a preset scan detection mode to carry out driving and scan detection on first and second conductive layers through a control circuit. When touch on a touch panel is detected, the type of the touch is determined, which may include a single-point touch, a continuous trace, and a multiple-point touch, and first and second operation modes are selectively used to perform driving and scan detection on the first and second conductive layers of the touch panel to thereby detect coordinates of the touch points or the continuous trace.

Touch position detection method for touch control device

A method for detecting touch points of touch control device is disclosed. The touch control device comprises a first substrate having a first conductive layer and a second substrate having a second conductive layer. The first and second conductive layers are respectively connected to a control circuit which is coupled to a microcontroller. The control circuit performs driving on the first conductive layer to generate a gradient potential, and performs scanning on the second conductive layer to determine a first-axis coordinates. Then the control circuit drives the second conductive layer to generate a gradient potential, and performs scanning on the first conductive layer to determine the second-axis coordinates.
