A driving circuit for driving an electronic element is provided. The drive circuit includes an inductive coupling circuit, a primary side circuit and a secondary side circuit. The inductive coupling circuit includes a primary winding and a secondary winding. The primary side circuit is electrically connected to an input voltage source, the primary winding and a first terminal of the electronic element. The secondary side circuit is electrically connected to the secondary winding, the primary side circuit and a second terminal of the electronic element. The driving circuit uses an electric energy stored in the primary side circuit and an electric energy stored in the secondary side circuit to drive the electronic element.

Driving circuit for driving electronic element

A driving device is provided. The driving device includes a boost inductor and a resonance circuit. The boost inductor receives a first power via a first terminal of the boost inductor in a first mode and provides a second power via a second terminal of the boost inductor. The resonance circuit stores a stored electric energy from the second power in the first mode, so that the boost inductor does not provide the second power in the second mode and drives a transducer by the stored electric energy in the first mode and the second mode.

Driving device

A lighting system and a driving circuit thereof are provided. The driving circuit is configured to drive a light emitting device. The driving circuit includes a bulk voltage converter. The bulk voltage converter receives an input voltage and converts the input voltage to generate a driving voltage. The bulk voltage converter includes a snubber circuit, a power switch, and an inductor. The snubber circuit receives the input voltage through a first node and generates a snubber voltage at a second node according to the input voltage. The power switch is turned on or off according to a control signal. The inductor is coupled between the first node and a third node. The driving circuit is coupled to the light emitting device through the first node and the third node and provides the driving voltage to the light emitting device.

Lighting system and driving circuit thereof

A power supply apparatus for driving a light emitting apparatus is provided. The power supply apparatus includes a lossless snubber circuit and a power converting circuit. The lossless snubber circuit has a first diode, a first inductor and a second diode coupled in series between an input end and a first reference end, and has a first capacitor coupled between the first diode and a second reference end. The power converting circuit has a switch, a transformer and a second indictor. The switch is coupled between the first and second reference ends, and is turned on or off according to a control signal. The second inductor is coupled to a first side of the transformer in parallel.

Power supply apparatus

A voltage converting device includes an input circuit to rectify an AC input voltage, a voltage converter receiving the rectified input voltage, a specific connection of a switch, an inductor, a capacitor and two discharging diodes coupled between the input circuit and a primary-side winding of the voltage converter, and an output circuit coupled to a secondary-side winding of the voltage converter to output a DC output voltage. Through proper operation of the switch, the AC input voltage may be converted into the DC output voltage.

Voltage converting device

An AC-to-DC power converting device includes: a filter for filtering an external AC input voltage; a rectifier for rectifying the AC input voltage filtered by the filter to output a rectified voltage; a power factor corrector for receiving the rectified voltage from the rectifier to generate a boosted voltage; and a step-down converter for receiving the boosted voltage from the power factor corrector to output a DC output voltage. The power factor corrector includes first and second capacitors connected in series across an output side of the rectifier, a series connection of a first diode, a first inductor, a third capacitor, a second inductor and a second diode coupled to the output side of the rectifier, and first and second switches connected in series across the third capacitor. A common node between the first and second capacitors is coupled to a common node between the first and second switches.

AC-to-DC power converting device

An electric lighting driver circuit for driving an illuminating unit to emit light includes a flyback converting unit for converting a DC input voltage to a low ripple DC voltage, and a half-bridge converting unit electrically connected to the flyback converting unit, for converting the low ripple DC voltage to a low frequency, rectangular wave output voltage to drive the illuminating unit to emit light. The flyback converting unit includes a dual-output winding transformer connected to the half-bridge converting unit. The dual-output winding transformer includes a first winding at a primary side of the dual-output winding transformer and a second winding and a third winding at a secondary side of the dual-output winding transformer. The third winding converts leakage inductance attributed to the first winding and the second winding to electrical energy that is provided to the half-bridge converting unit.

Electric lighting driver circuit

An electronic ballast includes a power factor corrector having an input side for receiving an AC input voltage from a voltage source, and including first and second power switches connected in series across an output side. Each of the first and second power switches is operable based on a corresponding one of a first and second control signals in one of an ON-state and an OFF-state. The power factor corrector is operable to output at the output side a boosted DC voltage output corresponding to the AC input voltage in response to operation of the first and second power switches. A buck circuit receives the boosted DC voltage output from the power factor, and is operable based on the boosted DC voltage output to output an AC voltage output in the form of an AC square wave signal to a high intensity discharge lamp.
