An array substrate for a liquid crystal display device can include a plurality of gate lines arranged in one direction to correspond to an active area on a substrate; a plurality of data lines configured to cross the plurality of gate lines in a perpendicular direction; a plurality of pixel electrodes respectively positioned at intersections between the plurality of gate lines and the plurality of data lines; and a plurality of data link lines respectively connected to a (4n&#x2212;2)data line in the active area and a (4n&#x2212;2)data pad in the non-active area, and a (4n&#x2212;1)data line in the active area and a (4n&#x2212;1)data pad in the non-active area, where n is a natural number, in which at least some of the plurality of data link lines are located at a different layer level than the plurality of data lines.

A display device includes a display panel including a display region and first and second non-display regions disposed at a periphery of the display region, a first drive integrated circuit including a first signal input terminal, a second drive integrated circuit including a second signal input terminal, the first and second drive integrated circuits disposed in the first non-display region, a circuit board generating and outputting a driving signal and disposed in the second non-display region, a first signal line interconnecting the first signal input terminal and the second signal input terminal, and a second signal line extending from the circuit board and connected to the first signal line at a central position of the first signal line.

An array substrate for a liquid crystal display device, comprising: a substrate; a gate line on the substrate; a data line crossing the gate line to define a pixel region; a thin film transistor connected to the gate line and the data line, and includes a gate electrode, an active layer, an ohmic contact layer, and source and drain electrodes; and a pixel electrode connected to the thin film transistor, and disposed at the pixel region, wherein the gate electrode includes a first sunken portion overlapping the drain electrode and a second portion overlapping the same electrode.
