An apparatus for wireless power transfer is described. In some implementations, the apparatus includes a resonant circuit configured to receive a radio frequency input and generate an in-phase voltage and an out-of-phase voltage. The apparatus further includes a pulse generation circuit configured to at least gate the in-phase voltage to provide a first output voltage, and gate the out-of-phase voltage to provide a second output voltage. The apparatus further includes a pulse width modulation circuit configured to provide, to the pulse generating circuit, information for controlling the pulse width modulation setting. The apparatus further includes a pulse frequency modulation circuit configured to provide, to the pulse generating circuit, information for controlling the pulse frequency modulation setting, the information for controlling the pulse frequency modulation setting determined based on the pulse width modulation setting. Related systems, methods, and articles of manufacture are also described.

Resonant regulating rectifier with an integrated antenna

In one respect, there is provided an apparatus for neural stimulation. The apparatus may include an antenna, a plurality of electrodes, and a voltage supply generator. The antenna may be configured to receive, from an external source, radio frequency energy. The voltage supply generator configured to generate a voltage supply by at least ramping up a voltage of the radio frequency energy in successive increments, wherein the voltage supply drives a current to the plurality of electrodes during neural stimulation. Related methods and computer program products are also disclosed.

Radio frequency powered adiabatic stimulation with energy replenishment

An apparatus may include a delta sigma modulator. A first portion of the delta sigma modulator may form a digital predictor while a second portion of the delta sigma modulator may form an analog approximator. An output of the analog approximator may be coupled with a quantizer. The digital predictor, the analog approximator, and the quantizer may form a digitizing loop configured to convert an analog input into a digital output. The digital predictor may be configured to generate, based on a polarity of one or more digital outputs from the quantizer, a digital prediction of an expected amplitude of the analog input. The quantizer may be configured to respond to the digital prediction by adjusting a dynamic range of the digitizing loop including by changing a quantization step size used by the quantizer to quantize the analog input. Related methods are also provided.

Predictive digital autoranging analog-to-digital converter

Systems, methods, and articles of manufacture, including computer program products, are provided for capacitive passive mixer baseband receivers with broadband harmonic rejection. In some embodiments, an apparatus is provided. The apparatus includes a receiver configured to receive an input signal and generate, based on the input signal, an in-phase portion and a quadrature phase portion. The apparatus further includes a harmonic rejection mixer comprising a plurality of capacitors, the plurality of capacitors encoded with a plurality of capacitance values, the harmonic rejection mixer configured to reduce harmonics in the input signal based on applying a quantity of the plurality of capacitance values to the input signal. The apparatus further includes a plurality of switches configured to activate the plurality of capacitors, the quantity of the plurality of predetermined capacitance values applied to the input signal based on a quantity of the plurality of capacitors that are active.
