Disclosed herein are an emergency operating system and an emergency operating method for a hybrid vehicle with a damaged bearing of an engine, which are capable of preventing a bearing from being further damaged due to a drive motor and a hybrid starter and generator (HSG) when damage to the bearing installed in an engine is detected and capable of driving the hybrid vehicle and which include a bearing damage detection operation, an engine driving maintaining operation, a first state of charge (SOC) comparison operation, and a first emergency operating operation.

A fuel rail in a variable intake module is integrated, thereby obtaining a sufficient coupling area and excellent sealing between the variable intake module and intake manifold. The assembly of injector and variable intake module to an engine is improved. A high pressure fuel path is integrally formed at a lower inner side of the variable intake module, wherein the variable intake module includes a plurality of intake paths and a flap placed at each intake path to form a tumble. Furthermore, an injector insertion part is formed at a lower side of each intake path to communicate with the high pressure fuel path.

The engine throttle body for inducing a smooth mixture of air and EGR gas regardless of the openness of a valve flap makes it possible for an engine to operate under a super thin air condition through the even mixture between air and EGR gas during a low engine load, thereby improving fuel consumption and reducing the exhaust of nitrogen oxide.

A fuel injection control method using a system comprising a high-pressure pump for pumping fuel, a fuel-pressure control valve disposed in a fuel bypass line communicating an output port and an input port of said high-pressure pump, and a controller for regulating fuel pressure, is provided. The method comprises: monitoring engine operating conditions; determining an optimal fuel injection pressure on the basis of said monitored engine operating conditions; determining on/off timing and on/off duration of said fuel-pressure control valve such that fuel pressure inside a fuel rail approaches said optimal fuel injection pressure; and opening and closing said fuel-pressure control valve according to said determined on/off timing and on/off duration of said fuel-pressure control valve.

Method and system for controlling fuel injection

A direct-injection spark-ignited engine is provided that includes a combustion chamber formed between a lower surface of a cylinder head and an upper surface of a piston. An intake and an exhaust valve are respectively disposed in an intake port and an exhaust port. These ports are respectively disposed on each side of the cylinder head. A spark plug is disposed in the cylinder head. A fuel injector directly injects fuel into the combustion chamber. A bowl is formed in the upper surface of the piston for generating a turbulent air flow.
