A display device including three sequentially stacked layers of cholesteric liquid crystal cell, where each layer of cholesteric liquid crystal cell includes a cholesteric liquid crystal layer and a first electrode layer and a second electrode layer arranged on two sides of the cholesteric liquid crystal layer respectively, the first electrode layer includes multiple first electrode strips, the second electrode layer includes multiple second electrode strip, along a thickness direction of the three layers of cholesteric liquid crystal cell, the first electrode strips from different first electrode layers are disposed one to one and electrically connected, and the second electrode strips from different second electrode layers are disposed one to one and connected in parallel; the display device further includes an array transistor layer, and each of the second electrode strips in the three layers of cholesteric liquid crystal cell is connected in series with the array transistor layer.

Display device

Some embodiments of the present disclosure provide an array substrate and a display pane. Multiple pixel electrode branches in a corresponding one of the pixel regions are divided into a first pixel electrode branch and a second pixel electrode branch by a corresponding one of the metal common electrodes. The first pixel electrode branch and the second pixel electrode branch, which are located in the same pixel regions, are connected to different TFTs. In each pixel region, an end of the first pixel electrode branch close to a corresponding one of the scan lines is connected to a corresponding one of the TFTs, and an end of the second pixel electrode branch close to another corresponding one of the scan lines is connected to another corresponding one of the TFTs.

Array substrate and display panel

This application discloses an array substrate and a display panel. The array substrate includes a substrate, a plurality of active switches, and a transparent conductive layer. The active switches are formed above the substrate. The transparent conductive layer is formed above the active switches, and is connected to each of the active switches. Each of the active switches includes a metal layer. A hollow structure is mounted on the transparent conductive layer. The hollow structure is located in an overlapping region between the transparent conductive layer and the metal layer.

A display panel, including a pixel array; multiple rows of gate lines; and multiple columns of data lines; the gate lines and the data lines are perpendicular to each other, respectively, and every two gate lines are correspondingly connected to a row of sub-pixels, and each data line is correspondingly connected to two columns of sub-pixels; each row of pixels is correspondingly connected to two gate lines, and any two gate lines are parallel to each other; and there is a preset length difference between two adjacent rows of gate lines. The turn-on time of the gate activating signal of the first column of pixels is greater than the turn-on time of the gate activating signal of the corresponding second column of pixels.

In the present disclosure, an electrostatic discharge path is increased through the floating metal layer. Even though the floating metal layer is burned down, a display quality would not be affected, the product yield is improved. Besides, it only needs to adjust a photomask pattern. Therefore, a production procedure needs not to be adjusted.

The gate lines and the data lines are configured to intersect each other at right angles, respectively; each row of pixels is correspondingly connected to two of the gate lines, and any two of the gate lines are parallel to each other; every two columns of subpixels are correspondingly connected to one of the data lines, and any two of the data lines are parallel to each other; and any two of the gate lines arranged in adjacent rows are configured to present a predetermined length difference therebetween. By setting a predetermined length difference, the array detection for display panel is realized to ensure the production yield of the display panel.

The present application discloses a photomask for manufacturing an active switch and a method for manufacturing a display panel. The photomask includes a light shielding region, a semi-transmissive region, a light transmitting region and a hollowed-out region, where the light shielding region corresponds to a metal layer of the active switch and is configured to be lighttight; the semi-transmissive region corresponds to a channel region of the active switch, and is configured to be partially transmissive; the light transmitting region is a photomask region other than the light shielding region and the semi-transmissive region and is configured to be completely transmissive; and the hollowed-out region is located within the semi-transmissive region and is configured to be completely transmissive.
