Systems and methods for assaying a test entity for a property, without measuring the property, are provided. Exemplary test entities include proteins, protein mixtures, and protein fragments. Measurements of first features in a respective subset of an N-dimensional space and of second features in a respective subset of an M-dimensional space, is obtained as training data for each reference in a plurality of reference entities. One or more of the second features is a metric for the target property. A subset of first features, or combinations thereof, is identified using feature selection. A model is trained on the subset of first features using the training data. Measurement values for the subset of first features for the test entity are applied to thereby obtaining a model value that is compared to model values obtained using measured values of the subset of first features from reference entities exhibiting the property.

Printable and stretchable thin-film devices and fabrication techniques are provided for forming fully-printed, intrinsically stretchable thin-film transistors and integrated logic circuits using stretchable elastomer substrates such as polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS), semiconducting carbon nanotube network as channel, unsorted carbon nanotube network as source/drain/gate electrodes, and BaTiO/PDMS composite as gate dielectric. Printable stretchable dielectric layer ink may be formed by mixing barium titanate nanoparticle (BaTiO) with PDMS using 4-methyl-2-pentanone as solvent.

A system for high throughput foam analysis includes a foam generation system, an illumination source, a detection system and an analysis system. A foam generation system includes a first plurality of foaming units, each foaming unit including a foaming chamber and a gas induction mechanism. The illumination source provides an illumination to the foaming chamber of each foaming unit. The detection system includes a first camera configured to temporally record the foaming process in each foaming unit, thereby producing a first plurality of frames. The analysis system includes: at least one processor, and a memory including instructions for (i) obtaining a first respective frame in the first plurality of frames; (ii) segmenting the first respective frame into a first plurality of segmented images, and (iii) extracting, from each segmented image, one or more characteristics of the foam, thereby facilitating high throughput foam analysis of the first plurality of solutions.

The present disclosure is directed to systems and methods for providing dynamic communication threads in response to a detected interaction with a sponsored digital content item. For example, systems and method described herein detect a user interaction with a sponsored digital content item and generate a screened communication thread between the user and the sponsor that is not available to the sponsor. The screened communication thread serves as a reminder to the user of the sponsored digital content item. Systems and methods described herein convert the screened communication thread to an open communication thread based on user interaction with the screened communication thread (e.g., after the user submits a reply in the screened communication thread). Thus, systems and methods described herein protect the user's online privacy unless and until the user indicates a desire to interact with the sponsor.

A food and liquid container is disclosed having a base and lid and providing for an air-tight seal between the base and lid when they are attached to each other. The seal is achieved at several points which create two air-pockets. The securing portion associated with the base can be substantially J-shaped in cross section, while the securing portion of the lid can be substantially u-shaped in cross section. A first ridge on the J-shaped section abuts with a second ridge on the u-shaped section when the lid is attached to the base with the second ridge disposed above the first ridge. The lower outer end of the u-shaped section can be rounded and a lip can extend outward for easier gripping when removing the lid from the base.

A computer cloning system and process comprising a cloning machine which modifies a survived or reproduced operating system ('OS') devices to adapt to new replacement hardware. The cloning processes are performed within the cloning machine, which is a separate machine from both the damaged and replacement machines. The modified OS device is then adapted to the replacement computer with different hardware. The cloning method of the present invention is a network independent solution. This invention may also be used for computer system hardware and/or software upgrades, computer testing, new computer installation, and system migration.
