A noise measuring device is provided. The noise measuring device includes a soundproof box, a sound receiving device, a holding device, and a driving device. The sound receiving device is disposed in the soundproof box. The holding device is disposed in the soundproof box and configured to hold a testing object. The driving device is connected with the soundproof box and configure to drive the soundproof box to rotate.

Noise measuring device

A memory controlling method adapted for driving a memory within a computer system is disclosed. When the computer system is booted, the memory is driven and tested via the BIOS. The memory controlling method performs tests on multiple controlling signals of the memory. The memory controlling method includes steps of: detecting an active window of each controlling signal; determining whether the active windows is larger than a predetermined window; performing a parameter adjustment on the controlling signals if one of the active windows is smaller than the predetermined window; performing a phase range test between two of the control signals if the active windows are larger than the predetermined window; performing a phase adjustment on the active windows of the controlling signals if the controlling signals fails in the phase range test; and driving the memory according to the adjusted controlling signals.

Memory controlling method

A booting method and a computer system thereof, suitable for rebooting the computer system when a setting value of a basic input output system (BIOS) is modified, are provided. When a modified setting value causes a situation in which a main power is cut off in advance and the computer system is rebooted, a control command is sent to a signal generator for controlling the signal generator to generate a control signal through the BIOS. Then, the control signal is transmitted to a switch by the signal generator for controlling the switch to be turned on or turned off. Afterwards, a power-failure signal transmitted by a chipset is changed by the switch, such that a power supply provides the main power continuously to reboot the computer system.

Booting method and computer system thereof

A computer system for automatically overclocking includes an overclocking element, a detecting circuit and a basic input/output system (BIOS). The overclocking element has a signal standard. The detecting circuit is used for acquiring an I/O signal of the overclocking element. The BIOS is used for comparing the signal standard with the I/O signal to obtain a comparing result. The BIOS is further used for adjusting a reference signal according to the comparing result. The reference signal is an input signal of the overclocking element.

The invention provides a method, an element and a circuit board for controlling an electronic device to be shut down. The method according to the invention includes the steps as follows. First, a power control signal is received, and the duration of the power control signal at a preset signal level is calculated. Then, whether the duration is greater than a threshold value is determined. If yes, an interrupt signal is generated and transmitted to a processing module of the electronic device to drive the processing module to set the preset mechanism of the electronic device according to the interrupt signal.

Method, element and circuit board for controlling shutdown of electronic device

A mother-board includes a chipset, a switch, and first and second PCI Express X16 graphics interfaces. The switch has first and second switch circuits. The switch selectively turns on one of the first and second switch circuits according to a control signal. The first PCI Express X16 graphics interface has former eight lanes electrically connected to the chipset, and latter eight lanes selectively electrically connected to the chipset through the first switch circuit. The second PCI Express X16 graphics interface has former eight lanes selectively electrically connected to the chipset through the second switch circuit. When the first switch circuit is turned on, 16 lanes of the first PCI Express X16 graphics interface are electrically connected to the chipset. When the second switch circuit is turned on, the former eight lanes of the second PCI Express X16 graphics interface are electrically connected to the chipset.

The method includes: providing a performance adjustable circuit working at a specific threshold frequency; determining a working power supply of the performance adjustable circuit; when the working power supply is higher or lower than a specific threshold level range corresponding to the specific threshold, adjusting the performance adjustable circuit to work at another specific threshold frequency.

A motherboard includes a PCI Express slot and a chipset. The PCI Express slot has four sidewalls; a topside of the PCI Express slot has a first aperture, and one of the four sidewalls has a second aperture. The first and second apertures are connected together in order to form an accommodation space for accepting an interface card. The chipset is electrically connected to the PCI Express slot. The interface card communicates with the chipset through the PCI Express slot.
