A method for video streaming includes receiving a video service request from a vehicle. The video service request is indicative of a request for a video content. The method further includes receiving a bandwidth prediction of a cellular network from the vehicle, and a list of available video codec configurations for a video content associated with the video service request. Moreover, method includes determining a selected video codec configuration based on the bandwidth prediction of the vehicle, determining that the selected video codec configuration is part of the list of available video codec configurations, and providing the video content to the vehicle using the selected video codec configuration.

The processor is further programmed to receive from the camera a media signal associated with a media stream generated by the camera by using a common one of the streaming protocols supported by the camera and the media player.

Each autonomous vehicle collects the image data related to the one or more events while following a unique travel schedule. The centralized scheduling system executes instructions to determine the unique travel schedule for a specific autonomous vehicle, where the unique travel schedule directs the specific autonomous vehicle to the specific location of the filtered event to collect the image data.

A system, method and server for a controlling a relation between a vehicle and traffic flow over a road segment. The system includes a telemetric device of the vehicle and a processor of the server. The telemetric device obtains telemetric data related to the road segment being traversed by the vehicle. The processor determines a property of the road segment based on the telemetric data and a road profile for the road segment, determines a disruption score indicative of a level of disruption in the traffic flow for the road segment based on the property, and outputs a notification signal when the disruption score is above a selected disruption threshold. The notification signal is usable for controlling the relation between the vehicle and the traffic flow.
