A charging method with hysteresis includes the steps of: performing a pre-determination process to check whether the battery temperature of a battery cell is higher than or equal to a predetermined temperature; if the battery temperature is higher than or equal to the predetermined temperature, enabling a hysteresis mechanism; Upon the hysteresis mechanism, initially charging the battery cell with a small charging current; performing a first determination process to check whether the battery temperature decreases to a first threshold temperature; if the battery temperature decreases to the first threshold temperature, charging the battery cell with a large charging current; performing a second determination process to check whether the battery temperature increases to a second threshold temperature; and if the battery temperature increases to the second threshold temperature, charging the battery cell with the small charging current.

Charging method with hysteresis and mobile device thereof

A power supply device is provided. The power supply device includes a housing, a power converter, a controller, multiple humidity sensitive capacitors, and a feedback circuit. The housing has multiple joints. The controller controls the power converter to provide an output voltage. The humidity sensitive capacitors are respectively configured in the housing and adjacent to a corresponding joint of the joints. The humidity sensitive capacitors jointly provide a sensing capacitance value. The feedback circuit changes a gain value and a compensation bandwidth of the output voltage in response to the change of the sensing capacitance value. When the humidity of at least one of the joints increases, the sensing capacitance value is reduced, so that the gain value and the compensation bandwidth are reduced.

Power supply device with protection function when water ingress occurs

An electronic apparatus and a load adjusting method thereof are provided. The method includes the following steps. Powering of an external power supply is detected. A self-power consumption time of the battery from a full capacity to a preset capacity is calculated and recorded when the powering of the external power supply is detected. A first average value of multiple self-power consumption times recorded within a preset period from a current time is calculated, and the first average value is compared with a second average value of the self-power consumption times of a previous preset period of the preset period. A value of a power limit for controlling the electronic apparatus to enter a load adjusting state is adjusted according to a comparison result.

A battery module for monitoring and suppressing battery swelling and interacting with a charging device includes a battery cell disposed in a nonconductive housing, a conductive label affixed to the nonconductive housing, a switch, and a controller. The battery cell is charged via a supply voltage from a charging device. The switch is coupled between the battery cell and the conductive label. The controller detects a resistance variation value ΔR of the conductive label as result of swelling of the nonconductive housing, and generates a corresponding control voltage. As the resistance of the conductive label increases, the supply voltage may be adjusted downward according to the control voltage. If the resistance variation value ΔR conductive label is greater than or equal to a predetermined threshold, the controller closes the switch, and the battery cell may then fully discharge through the conductive label.

Battery module and method for suppressing battery swelling

An electronic device for suppressing battery swelling includes a first battery cell, a first conductive label, a second conductive label, a third conductive label, and a BMU (Battery Management Unit). The first battery cell includes a first nonconductive housing. The first conductive label, the second conductive label, and the third conductive label are disposed on the first nonconductive housing. The BMU outputs a charging voltage to the first battery cell. The BMU determines the voltage level of the charging voltage by detecting the states of the first conductive label, the second conductive label, and the third conductive label.

Electronic device and method for suppressing battery swelling

A charging method is provided for charging a plurality of batteries of a battery module. The charging method includes: obtaining a maximum voltage value and a minimum voltage value of a plurality of battery voltage values of the batteries according to a relative state of charge of the battery module during a charging process; obtaining a difference value between the maximum voltage value and the minimum voltage value; and adjusting a charging voltage value for charging the batteries and a taper voltage value for determining whether the batteries reach a charging saturation state according to the difference value.

Charging method for charging battery module

A battery control method and a battery control apparatus are provided. The battery control method includes the following steps. Whether a charging voltage value of a battery is greater than a voltage threshold is determined. When the charging voltage value is greater than the voltage threshold, a battery temperature of the battery is obtained. When the battery temperature is less than a first temperature, a time parameter is accumulated according to a first accumulating rate. When the time parameter reaches a time threshold, the charging voltage value of the battery is reduced.
