An antenna structure includes a metallic member, a feed portion, and a coupling resistor. The metallic member defines a slot, a first gap, a second gap, and a third gap. The first gap and the second gap are connected with the slot and divide with the slot the metallic member into a first portion and a second portion. The second portion is grounded. The third gap is defined on the first portion and connected with the slot. The first portion is divided into a radiating portion and a coupling portion by the third gap. The coupling portion is spaced apart from the radiating portion. The feed portion is electrically connected to the radiating portion, and the coupling portion is grounded through the coupling resistor.

Antenna structure and wireless communication device using same

An antenna structure includes a feeding portion, a first grounding portion, a second grounding portion, a first radiating portion, a second radiating portion, a third radiating portion, and a fourth radiating portion. The feeding portion is configured to feed current signals. The first and second grounding portions are positioned at two opposite sides of the feeding portion respectively. The first, second and third radiating portions cooperatively form a first current path to excite a low-frequency resonate mode and a first high-frequency resonate mode; the first radiating portion resonates with the first grounding portion to excite a second high-frequency resonate mode; the second, third and fourth radiating portion cooperatively form a second current path to excite a third high-frequency resonate mode.

An antenna structure includes a feed unit, a grounding unit, a connecting unit, a radiating unit, and a resonating unit. The grounding unit is spaced apart from the feed unit. The connecting unit resists and is electrically connected to the feed unit and the grounding unit. The radiating unit is electrically connected to one side of the connecting unit so as to activate a first resonance mode. The resonating unit is electrically connected to another side of the connecting unit so as to activate a second resonance mode.

An antenna structure includes a feed unit, a grounding unit, a first radiating unit, a second radiating unit, third radiating unit, fourth radiating unit, and a fifth radiating unit. The diversity antenna is spaced apart from the main antenna and extends in a first radiation direction substantially parallel to the main antenna direction. The at least one accessorial antenna extends in a second radiation direction which is substantially perpendicular to either the main antenna direction or the first radiation direction.

An exemplary wireless communication device includes a circuit board, a first antenna, a second antenna, and an end portion. The circuit board includes a feed terminal. The first antenna is located on the circuit board adjacent to the feed terminal. The second antenna is electronically connected to the feed terminal. The end portion serves as a portion of a metal housing of the wireless communication device and includes a positioning portion. The positioning portion secures the first antenna and the end portion to the circuit board.

An antenna assembly includes a first antenna, a second antenna, and at least one connecting member. The first antenna includes a radiator and at least one connecting portion connected to the radiator, and the radiator is a part of a housing of a wireless communication device. The at least one connecting member is connected to the at least one connecting portion to fix the first antenna to the wireless communication device to feed current to the first antenna and the second antenna.

A wireless communication device includes a cover, an antenna, and an adjusting member. The adjusting member is slidably mounted to the cover and is made of non-conductive materials. The antenna includes a extending portion, the extending portion is sandwiched between the cover and the adjusting member. The adjusting member contacts and partially overlaps with the extending portion, the adjusting member slides relative to the cover to change contact positions of the extending portion and the adjusting member.

An antenna module includes an antenna, a connecting member attached to the antenna, a sliding board configured for sliding relative to connecting member, and a radiation member attached to the sliding board. When the sliding board is slid by a user, the radiation member makes contact with or separates from the connecting member, enabling one antenna module to receive and transmit wireless signals of different wavelengths.

An exemplary wireless communication device includes a circuit board, a metal end portion, an antenna, and a connecting member. The antenna is positioned on the circuit board. The connecting member interconnects the circuit board and the end portion. The connecting member serves as a feeding point of the antenna. The end portion is a portion of a housing of the wireless communication device and further serves as a radiating portion of the antenna.

An antenna structure includes a first circuit board having a first antenna unit and a second antenna unit, a second circuit board having a first radio member and a second radio member, and a sliding mechanism. The first antenna unit and the second antenna unit are configured for receiving and transmitting different wireless signals. The sliding mechanism slides the second circuit board relative to the first circuit board, to separate or connect the first antenna unit with the first radio member and the second antenna unit with the second radio member, thus enabling the first antenna unit or a combination of the second antenna unit and the second radio member to receive and transmit a first wireless signal; the second antenna unit or a combination of the first antenna unit and the first radio member receive to transmit a second wireless signal.

A wireless communication device includes a first antenna, a second antenna, a first light sensor adjacent to the first antenna, a second light sensor adjacent to the second antenna, a controller, and a magnetic member movably located between the first antenna and the second antenna. When one of the first and second antennas in a state of receiving/transmitting wireless signals is covered by a user's hand, the nearby light sensor sends a pulse signal to the controller. The controller receiving the pulse signal controls the first and second antennas to change their magnetic polarity, enabling the magnetic member to be separated from one of the first and second antennas and attached to the another one, thereby choosing one of the first and second antennas, or a combination of one of the two antennas and the magnetic member to receive/transmit the wireless signals.
