Handle for endoscope

An image sensor package includes a first substrate, an image sensor, a second substrate, a light-emitting element, and a first encapsulant. The image sensor is disposed on and electrically connected with the first substrate. The second substrate is disposed on and electrically connected with the first substrate, wherein the second substrate includes an accommodating portion and the image sensor protrudes from the second substrate via the accommodating portion. The light-emitting element is disposed on the second substrate and close to the image sensor, and is electrically connected to the second substrate. The first encapsulant is filled in a space between the image sensor and the light-emitting element. The abovementioned image sensor package can achieve miniaturization and provide better illumination. An endoscope including the abovementioned image sensor package is also disclosed.

Image sensor package and endoscope

A packaged image sensor includes a substrate, an image sensor, a light-emitting element, and a first encapsulant. The substrate includes a through-hole. The image sensor and the light-emitting element are disposed on the substrate and are electrically connected to the substrate. The first encapsulant is filled between the image sensor and the light emitting element, and keeps the through-hole of the substrate opened. The through-hole of the substrate of the above-mentioned packaged image sensor can define a relative position between a pipe and the image sensor to facilitate the subsequent packaging process. An endoscope including the above-mentioned packaged image sensor is also disclosed.

Packaged image sensor and endoscope

A packaged image sensor includes a first pipe and a second pipe, wherein the first pipe with a shorter length is initially encapsulated with an image sensor and a light-emitting element to define a relative position between the first pipe and the image sensor. The second pipe is connected to the first pipe and then is encapsulated in a second encapsulation process. The abovementioned packaged image sensor is easy to manufacture. An endoscope including the abovementioned packaged image sensor is also disclosed.

A scanning device applied to an optical coherence tomography system integrates a scanning lens group required by the coherence tomography system into a fundus imaging system, so that the coherence tomography system and the fundus imaging system can share the scanning lens group for focusing. The above-mentioned scanning device can shorten a response time of focusing and reduce the volume of the system. An optical coherence tomography system including the above-mentioned scanning device is also disclosed.

Scanning device and optical coherence tomography system

A fundus camera includes an eyeball-offset detection device and an annular illumination device. The eyeball-offset detection device is configured to detect an offset vector of a lens of the fundus camera relative to an inspected eyeball. The annular illumination device includes a plurality of illumination elements that are arranged in a ring shape around an optical axis of an imaging system of the fundus camera. According to the offset vector of the lens relative to the inspected eyeball, the fundus camera selectively activates one or more illumination elements at corresponding positions to keep an illumination optical path away from a center area of the pupil of the inspected eyeball to reduce effects of corneal reflection and improve illumination quality. Therefore, the abovementioned fundus camera has a large operable range.

Fundus camera

A slit illumination device includes a first light-emitting element, a first diaphragm and a projection lens group. The first light-emitting element generates a primary illumination light. The first diaphragm has at least one opening and is disposed on a light exit side of the first light-emitting element, wherein the opening is an elongate shaped opening. The projection lens group is disposed on a light exit side of the first diaphragm, converging the primary illumination light and projecting it to a target object. A distance from the first diaphragm to the projection lens group is 1-2 times a focal length of the projection lens group on a light entrance side. The foregoing slit illumination device has advantages of simple structure, small size, and longer depth of field. A microscope system including the foregoing slit illumination device is also disclosed.

Lens for digital diagnostic device

A lens module comprises a first lens group, a second lens group and a third lens group, which are arranged from an eye fundus side to an image side in sequence. The first lens group has a positive effective focal length (EFL) and includes a first lens having two convex surfaces respectively facing the eye fundus side and the image side. The second lens group has a positive or negative EFL and includes a plurality of second lenses, wherein the second lens closest to the eye fundus side has a concave surface facing the eye fundus side. The third lens group has a positive EFL and includes a plurality of third lenses, wherein at least one third lens is a cemented lens. The abovementioned lens module decreases the volume of a lens module and reduces the ghosting effect. An eye fundus camera using the abovementioned lens module is also disclosed.

A digital diagnostic system with interchangeable lenses includes a host and at least one optical lens module, wherein the host without any optical lens having curved surface includes a focus adjustment module which drives an image capture module to linearly move. Therefore, the optical system of the optical lens module can be designed independently, and no need to include focus adjustment mechanism, so that the optical design of the optical lens module can be greatly simplified, and the system allows a greater mechanism tolerance, thereby reducing manufacturing difficulty and manufacturing cost.

Host, optical lens module and digital diagnostic system including the same

A contact-type ophthalmoscope includes a contact lens, an annular illumination module, an imaging lens group and an image capture module. The contact lens having a concave surface is configured for contacting an eyeball. The annular illumination module arranged close to the contact lens is configured for providing a direct illumination light source to illuminate a fundus of the eyeball. The imaging lens group is disposed in the central hollow portion of the annular illumination module and configured for converging the reflected light from the fundus of the eyeball. The image capture module is configured for capturing the reflected light converged by the imaging lens group to form an image. The above-mentioned contact-type ophthalmoscope has advantages of better illumination efficiency, compactness and less scattered light reflected from the imaging lens.

Contact-type ophthalmoscope

A hematocrit (HCT) measurement system and measurement method using the same are disclosed. The hematocrit (HCT) measurement system comprises a test strip and a measurement apparatus comprising: a connector transmitting an initial signal generated from a blood sample to the measurement apparatus, a capacitive reactance adjustor disposed between the test strip and the measurement apparatus, a calculation unit for calculating concentration and HCT value of the blood sample, an A/D convertor transforming the corresponding initial signal to a digital signal, and a signal processor processing the digital reacted signal and showing measured results on a display, wherein the HCT value is calculated by voltage partition to prevent the signal waveform voltage being saturated or cutoff, thereby resulting in measured signal distortion.

Hematocrit measurement system and measurement method using the same

An optical projection and image sensing apparatus including a light source, a light valve, a first lens set, a sensing module, and a beam splitter is provided. The light valve is used to convert an illumination light from the light source to an image light beam. The first lens set is used to project the image light to display an image on a screen, and the sensing module is used to sense a sensing light from the image on the screen. The beam splitter is disposed on the optical paths of the image light and the sensing light from the image on the screen. One of the sensing module and the light valve is disposed on the optical path of the sensing light passing through the beam splitter, and the other is disposed on optical path of the sensing light reflected by the beam splitter.

Optical projection and image sensing apparatus

An ophthalmoscope comprises an illumination element providing an illumination light beam to illuminate the fundus of an eyeball; an imaging lens group converging the reflected light beam from the fundus; and an image capture module. The image capture module includes an image sensing element, a fixation light element and an optical element. The image sensing element captures the reflected light beam converged by the imaging lens group to form an image. The fixation light element provides a fixation light beam passing through the imaging lens group and reaching the fundus. The optical element is arranged among the imaging lens group, image sensing element and fixation light element to make the image sensing element and the fixation light element on different equivalent focal planes of the imaging lens group. According to the above-mentioned structure, a relay lens and a focusing module used by the conventional fixation light element is omitted.

Devices and methods for measuring prothrombin time (PT) and hematocrit (HCT) by analyzing the change in reactance in a sample are presented. A diagnostic device for measuring HCT and PT of a fluid includes a relative electrode-type sensor device and a blood test card assembly including one or more pairs of electrodes, wherein alternating current (AC) provided by the sensor device is used to measure and calculate HCT and PT of blood test using the reactance analysis.
