The invention relates to a control system () of a fire-extinguishing installation, having at least one control line () for controlling a controlling procedure of the fire-extinguishing installation, wherein the control line () in a passive operation is unpressurized and the control line () in a control operation is impinged with a control pressure, and a safety device (), fluidically connected to the control line (), having a pressure equalization chamber () in which a holding element () and a movable closure element () are disposed. It is proposed that the closure element () is disposed in the pressure equalization chamber () so as to be displaceable between a first terminal position and a second terminal position, and the holding element () is configured for exerting on the closure element () a restoring force in the direction of the first terminal position, wherein the restoring force on the closure element () in the second terminal position of the closure element () is higher than the weight force of the closure element (), and in the first terminal position of the closure element () is lower than a pressure force that in the control operation acts as a function of the control pressure on the closure element ().

Control system for a fire-extinguishing installation, and safety device

A valve, having a valve housing which has a fluid inlet chamber and a fluid outlet chamber, having a valve seat which is arranged between the fluid inlet chamber and the fluid outlet chamber, and having a closure body which is movable back and forth between a release position and a blocking position. The closure body abuts against the valve seat in a fluid-tight manner in the blocking position, and wherein the fluid inlet chamber and the fluid outlet chamber are connected to one another in a fluid-conducting manner in the release position. The valve seat and the closure body each have a sealing surface, which are opposite one another in the blocking state, and an elastically deformable sealing element which is arranged between the sealing surfaces in the blocking state and which completely stretches over one of the sealing surfaces.

Valve and use thereof in a fire-extinguishing system

A sectional valve includes a working valve and a control valve, which controls the working valve. In order to permit a greater flexibility with respect to possible settings and/or use or operation by comparison to known solutions, it is proposed, for example, that the control valve have a control spring ('), which presses the anchor () onto the control valve seat (), and against which the control coil () lifts the anchor () from the control valve seat (), a permanent magnet (), which in an actuation state is configured to hold the anchor () lifted from the control valve seat () by the core (), and a magnet holder (), in and/or on which the permanent magnet () is held in the actuation state, and which permits a distance from the permanent magnet (), and/or that the control valve is configured to variably position the core () along a force generated by the control spring (&#x2032;).

Valve for switching fluids, extinguishing system and method

A trigger unit () for triggering an extinguishing-agent flow in the direction of a fire zone, connected to an energy supply, having a first actuating device () that can be switched between a release position in which the energy supply is released, and an interruption position in which the energy supply is interrupted, a second actuating device () that can be switched between a release position in which the extinguishing-agent flow is released, and a rest position, a coupling unit () that can be moved between an operating position and an extinguishing position and permanently couples together the switching of the first actuating device () and the second actuating device (). A tensioning element is connected in a force-transmitting manner to the coupling unit () in such a manner that a change in the tensioning state of the tensioning element always results in a movement of the coupling unit ().

Trigger unit for extinguishing devices

A detector () is provided that is independent of outside energy, for a release device, for which detector no battery and no external power supply is provided, and that generates a signal at a defined temperature, a thermal release element (), at least one piezo element () and a coupling element () being arranged such in a bracket/housing () that as a result of a change in state of the thermal release element () by the coupling element () exerts a mechanical pressure on the piezo element () so that an electric signal is generated. A valve for a release device is also provided.

Release device

A protective device with a pressure tank () includes an elastic extinguishing agent balloon () filled with an extinguishing agent () and a propellant, where the elastic extinguishing agent balloon () borders onto at least one elastic component () and this elastic component is fluid permeable. The upper part of the elastic extinguishing agent balloon () is formed as a sealing ring. The device has the advantage that when it is used in mobile and stationary objects, where vibrations and other forces act on the extinguishing device, a high degree of operational safety of the extinguishing device can be assumed, that makes it possible to discharge almost 100 percent of the extinguishing agent without any malfunctioning. The operation of the extinguishing device is also temperature independent so that no additional safety measures are required in the case of a change in the spatial attitude of the pressure tank.

Protective device having a pressure tank

A device for compensating a filling level () in a pressure vessel () for an extinguishing agent, includes an extinguishing line (), a propellant-gas line () supplied with propellant gas (), and an adapter () on a threaded socket of the pressure vessel (). A compensation tank () is in communication with the pressure vessel and a shut-off member () is arranged between the compensation tank () and the pressure vessel (). The shut-off member is closed automatically to isolate the compensation tank from the pressure vessel when a propellant is applied to the pressure vessel so that the extinguishing agent can be stored without pressure in the extinguishing-agent vessel and can be monitored using a simple device.
