A level comprising a level body and a bubble vial mounted on the level body. The bubble vial includes a bubble vial body comprising a clear material and an internal cavity containing a liquid. A top opening in the level body that interrupts at least a portion of a top wall to accommodate the bubble vial. An internal support structure disposed within the tubular configuration of the level body and spanning longitudinally along the level body so as to be disposed on both sides of the top opening to provide structural support to the level body in the vicinity of the top opening. A carrier positioned beneath the bubble vial and between the internal support structure and the bubble vial. The bubble vial body has a length that is less than a length of the top opening in the top wall of the level body.

Level and method of manufacturing same

A level comprising a level body and a bubble vial mounted on the level body is provided. A top opening in the level body interrupts at least a portion of a top wall of the level body to accommodate the bubble vial. An internal support structure is disposed within the tubular configuration of the level body and spanning longitudinally along the level body so as to be disposed on both sides of the top opening to provide structural support to the level body in the vicinity of the top opening. The internal support structure includes a base portion, a pair of legs extending upwardly from the base portion, and an opening disposed between the pair of upwardly extending legs. A carrier structure is disposed in the opening of the internal support structure and positioned beneath the bubble vial and between the internal support structure and the bubble vial.

A level comprising a level body, and at least one bubble vial mounted on the level body is provided. The level body has a generally tubular configuration including a top wall and a bottom wall generally parallel to one another, and a pair of spaced side walls; a top opening in the level body that interrupts at least a portion of the top wall to accommodate the at least one bubble vial; and an internal support structure disposed within the tubular configuration of the level body and spanning longitudinally along the level body so as to be disposed on both sides of the top opening to provide structural support to the level body in the vicinity of the top opening.

Carbon fiber composite level and method of manufacturing same

A composite level and a method to manufacture the composite level are provided. A composite level can have three layers of material. A first layer comprises a glass-mat material, a second layer comprises carbon fiber, and a third layer comprises a glass fabric material. A composite level can also have only two layers of material. At least one bubble vial is mounted on the level body. The method to manufacture the carbon fiber composite level comprises a pultrusion process wherein a fiber glass material and carbon fiber are saturated with resin and molded into a final shape.

The invention provides a demolition tool that can be used in many ways for the demolition of construction materials or other materials. The demolition tool includes a handle having a head at one end. The head has a longitudinal central plane that bisects the head, a strike contact face, and toothed, stepped grasping jaws that accommodate multiple sizes of lumber or other material. The head may also include a blunt blade edge below the strike contact face for striking and demolishing material. The demolition tool includes a bent end pry bar at a second end of the handle. The bent end pry bar being offset 90 degrees from the longitudinal central plane of the tool head enabling full range of motion without interfering with other tool functions. The demolition tool may comprise a single piece of material and may be softer than tools used to strike it, but harder than materials which it is used to strike.
