A hand held appliance including a wall, a fluid flow path extending within the wall from a fluid inlet into the appliance to a fluid outlet from the appliance, a fan unit extending longitudinally within the wall for drawing fluid into the fluid inlet wherein the fan unit is non-concentric with respect to the wall. The fan unit may be positioned coaxially within the fluid flow path. The wall has a thickness and the thickness of the wall may varies. The wall may be generally tubular and the thickness of the wall varies around a circumference of the wall. The wall may be generally tubular and has an inner surface and an outer surface. A central axis of the inner surface may be different to a central axis of the outer surface.

Hand held appliance

A hand held appliance comprising a fluid flow path extending from a fluid inlet into the appliance to a fluid outlet from the appliance, the fluid flow path being at least partially defined by a wall, a switch mechanism housed by the wall having a cooperating externally accessible actuating button and a switch cover extending within the wall and containing the switch mechanism. The switch cover may maintain a spatial location of the switch mechanism relative to the actuating button. The switch cover may encase the switch mechanism. The switch cover may isolate the switch mechanism from the fluid flow path. The switch cover may maintain a spatial location of the switch mechanism relative to the wall. The switch cover may be curved towards an upstream end to reduce disturbance to the flow of fluid within the fluid flow path.

A hand held appliance including a handle having an outer wall, an inner structure disposed within the outer wall and an end wall extending across the outer wall wherein the end wall is attached to the handle via the inner structure and the end wall extends away from the outer wall. The handle may have a longitudinal axis along which the outer wall extends; the end wall may extend away from the outer wall towards the longitudinal axis. The end wall may extend from the outer wall towards the longitudinal axis as the end wall extends away from the outer wall and may taper as it extends away from the outer wall. The end wall may be frustoconical in shape. The end wall may include at least one first attachment member that extends from the end wall to engage with one or more cooperating attachment members of the inner structure.

A hand held appliance including a body, a handle, a fluid flow path flowing from a fluid inlet into the handle to a fluid outlet from the body and a baffle wherein the fluid flow path is non-linear and the baffle directs flow within the fluid flow path. The fluid flow path may flow in a first direction within the handle and a second direction within the body. The baffle may be provided to direct flow between the handle and the body. The baffle may extend from the handle into a space defined within the body. The handle may include a wall that defines the fluid flow path within the handle. The baffle may form a partial continuation of the wall. The body and the handle may be molded as a first part and a second part. The baffle may be formed from a handle part and a body part.

Hair appliance

Disclosed is a hair care appliance comprising a body comprising an outer wall, and a handle comprising an outer wall and a wall disposed within the outer wall wherein, the outer wall of the body and the wall of the handle are formed as a single unit. The outer wall may extend about the wall and partially along the wall. The wall may comprise an access aperture and a hatch for closing the access aperture which the outer wall may extend over. The outer wall may extend about the wall for substantially the whole length of the wall. The handle may comprise a primary fluid inlet disposed at and/or near the distal end of the handle from the body which may comprise at least one aperture extending around and along the outer wall. Also disclosed is a hand held appliance.
