An LED lighting system includes a power supply module, a data input line routed through the power supply module, an AC power input, and an LED fixture. The power supply module includes a power supply unit and an AC power cable. The AC power input is electrically connected to the power supply unit and the AC power cable. The LED fixture is electrically connected to an output of the power supply unit and the data input cable, and includes one or more LED assemblies disposed on a circuit board, a data signal output, and a power output. The AC power cable may be routed through the LED fixture.

A method and system for connecting a light emitting apparatus is disclosed herein. The system includes at least two rod assembly connectors, in which each rod assembly connector includes a rod assembly body having a first end and a second end. The first end of one of the rod assembly connectors is configured to connect with the second end of the second rod assembly connector. Further, at least one of the rod assembly connectors includes an attachment mechanism, in which the attachment mechanism is configured to attach to a light emitting apparatus.

A display system is described having a plurality of display units, wherein each of the display units is movable between at least a first position and a second position, and wherein each display unit is provided with at least a first light emitting element. Each display unit may be configured to be rotatable about an axis thereof, such that the first position is defined as a first angular position of rotation about the axis, and the second position is defined as a second angular position of rotation about the axis. A method of operating a display system having a plurality of display units is also described, wherein each of the display units is movable between at least a first position and a second position, and wherein each display unit comprises at least a first light emitting element, the method including: moving the display units from the first position to the second position, thereby exposing a first display surface; controlling emission of light from the first light emitting element of each of the display units; and returning the display units to the first position.

Display system

A light emitting apparatus and a method of displaying an image therewith is disclosed. The light emitting apparatus includes a spine and a rib. The rib is attached to the spine and includes a plurality of alternating nodes and connection links. At least one of the connection links is thinner in cross-section than at least one of the nodes. The light emitting apparatus then further includes a connector to attach multiple light emitting apparatuses together. The light emitting apparatus further includes a plurality of pixels, in which the pixels are configured to receive a data signal and power.

Display system having pixels

A light emitting apparatus and method of manufacturing thereof are disclosed. The light emitting apparatus includes a plurality of printed circuit boards connected to one another, a light emitting element disposed on and electrically connected to each printed circuit board, and at least one connector disposed between the printed circuit boards. The method of manufacturing the light emitting apparatus includes disposing a light emitting element on a plurality of printed circuit boards, arranging planar surfaces of the plurality of printed circuit boards substantially opposite, and connecting the plurality of printed circuit boards to one another.
