The present application provides a heat exchanger assembly. The heat exchanger assembly may include a folded fin core with a ridge end and a trough end, a first end plate positioned about the ridge end of the folded fin core, a second end plate positioned about the trough end of the folded fin core, and with the first end plate and the second end plate including a number of protrusions thereon.

Systems, methods, and apparatus are provided for a mounting base for circuit board assemblies that provides both mounting of one or more circuit boards and a pathway including one or more fins to conduct heat away from the one or more circuit boards.

The present application provides for an enclosure for mounting electrical components therein. The enclosure may include a base, a roof, a number of side walls, and one or more support ducts extending from the base to the roof. The supports ducts may include an air channel therein extending from the base to the roof.

Rail mounting apparatus including a base having a mount surface including at least one tab for mounting a first edge of the rail relative to the mount surface, a side surface including a guide clip, and a connector guide slot extending from the side surface; a mounting clip including: a body slidingly mounted in the guide clip, a rail engaging member at a first end of the body for engaging a second edge of the rail, a connector mount at a second end of the body; and a connector extending through the guide slot and received in the connector mount of the mounting clip, wherein coupling of the connector to the connector mount slidingly moves the mounting clip in the guide clip to engage the rail engaging member with the second edge of the rail and hold the second edge of the rail relative to the mount surface of the base.

Rail mounting apparatus

A rotor for a wind turbine generator includes a rotatable hub forming a cavity. A plurality of rotor blades is connected to the hub. A heat sink is at least partially positioned within the cavity and extends along a portion of a corresponding rotor blade. The heat sink includes a bottom surface mounted on a thermal energy generating component of the wind turbine generator. An opposing top planar surface includes a plurality of pins extending therefrom. The pins form an air flow path through the pins to dissipate the generated thermal energy from the thermal energy generating component.

Method and apparatus for gravity induced thermal energy dissipation

A ferrite assembly has a first conductor and a number of ferrite members. Each of the number of ferrite members has a core. The ferrite members are in electrical communication with the first conductor. The ferrite assembly has a number of current dividing members in electrical communication with the first conductor. The current dividing members define a number of passages for allowing an airflow therethrough.

Fabricated air core reactor

A device for controlling a fluid flow is disclosed. The device includes at least two fluid flow drivers, a plenum disposed to receive a fluid flow from the at least two drivers, and a baffle disposed within the plenum. The plenum has a first cross-sectional area proximate the at least two drivers and a second cross-section area at a distance from the at least two drivers, the second cross-sectional area being an exit for the fluid flow. The baffle has a first edge restrained proximate the first cross-sectional area and a second opposing edge freely disposed proximate the second cross-sectional area. The baffle has a surface area responsive to the fluid flow within the plenum to reduce a backflow if one of the at least two drivers is operational and another is non-operational.

Fluid flow control apparatus

An apparatus and method for mounting electrical devices in a housing at an angle relative to the ground is provided. The apparatus comprises a housing having a top, bottom, and sides, each of which may be open, closed or ventilated. One or more electrical devices are located in the housing and are oriented at an angle relative to the horizontal ground. The electrical devices may be silicon controlled rectifiers that serve as a power bridge between an exciter and a power generator. A method for mounting electrical devices in a housing at an angle relative to the horizontal ground is also provided.

Series-parallel fans system

An apparatus and method for providing a supply of air to cool electrical devices is provided. The apparatus comprises a two fan housings, each containing a number of fans arranged to blow air in a parallel fashion. The exhaust of one housing is connected to the intake of the other housing by a balancing plenum. The apparatus provides a sufficient supply of cooling air when one or more of the fans is inoperable. The device being cooled may be the power bridge of an exciter for a power generation system. A method for providing a supply of air to electrical devices is also provided.
