A system for inhibiting operation of a vehicle-based device while the vehicle is in motion includes a motion sensor, a timer, and a time delay override switch in communication with a control circuit. The control circuit selectively outputs one or more enable and/or inhibit signals based on the states of the motion sensor and timer. The time delay override switch can be actuated to place the timer into a timed out state from a timing state.

A stabilizing jack includes a base frame and a slide frame and a leg connected to the base frame and to the slide frame. The leg may be selectively extended into contact with a mating surface and retracted from the extended position. Locking pins disposed on either of the base frame and the slide frame may selectively engage with pin-receiving apertures on the other of the base frame and the slide frame when the leg is placed in the extended position and disengaged from the apertures when the leg is retracted from the extended position.

A retractable awning system includes an awning and a support structure therefor. The support structure includes a base and first, second, and third support arms. The awning is attached to a roller connected to the third support arm and to another structure. A telescopic actuator coupled to the first and second support arms is configured to bias the first, second, and third support arms to a deployed state. The awning may be wound onto the roller. Tension in the awning resulting from the rolling process causes the support structure to transition to a collapsed position.

A retractable awning having a roller, a flexible canopy having one end secured to the roller and rollable onto the roller, and a motor operable to rotate the roller to roll the flexible canopy onto or off the roller. The motor includes a protective housing, with a manual motor override on the motor within the housing. An aperture in the housing proximate the override is aligned with and permits access to the override through the aperture.

A retractable awning with is moveable between an extended position where the awning is deployed for use and a retracted position where the awning is stowed out of use. The awning includes a light source mounted on a roller tube, with the light source being exposed to a living area beneath the awning when the awning is in the extended position. A contact assembly provides electrical power to the light source, with the contact assembly comprising engaging rotatable and stationary segments.

A retractable awning having a roller, a flexible canopy having one end secured to the roller and rollable onto the roller, and a motor operable to rotate the roller to roll the flexible canopy onto or off the roller. Top and bottom mounting arms extend from a support arm for the roller, with the bottom arm being articulated, and with an extensible strut pivotally connected to and extending between each top and bottom mounting arm.
