A communication system allows communication between two users separated by a long distance includes a source ground station, a constellation, one or more linking-gateways, and a destination ground station. The constellation includes groups of communication devices orbiting or traveling around the earth. A first communication device of a first group of communication devices is in communication with the source ground station and receives a communication from the source ground station. The linking-gateway is in communication with at least the first and a second group of communication devices. The linking-gateway receives the communication from the first group of communication devices and sends the communication to a second communication device of the second group of communication devices. The destination ground station is in communication with the second group of communication devices, the destination ground station receiving the communication from a communication device of the second group of communication devices.

Global communication network

Methods, systems, and apparatus for performing recursive embedding by URL parameterization are provided. Recursive embedding by URL parameterization may be performed by receiving a display parameter for defining a window display area within a portion of a first document associated with a first application having a first format, and a URL-based identifier specifying a portion of a second document associated with a second application having a second format. The first and second formats are different from each other. A display of the portion of first including the window display area is generated. The specified portion of the second document is displayed within the window display area, and the first and second documents are independently executable with respect to each other.

Recursive embedding by URL parameterization

A handheld computing device is introduced comprising a motion detection sensor(s) and a motion control agent. The motion detection sensor(s) detect motion of the computing device in one or more of six (6) fields of motion and generate an indication of such motion. The motion control agent, responsive to the indications of motion received from the motion sensors, generate control signals to modify, one or more of the operating state and/or the displayed content of the computing device based, at least in part, on the received indications.

Radio communications system with a minimal broadcast channel

A system identifies metadata associated with a document by capturing text of a document and comparing the text of the document with a collection of metadata records. Sets of matches between the text of the document and at least one record in the collection of metadata records may be identified, where each set of matches corresponds to a metadata record in the collection of metadata records. Metadata records corresponding to each set of matches may be scored. At least one of the metadata records may be identified based on the scores of the metadata records. The at least one identified metadata record may be associated with the document.
