Populating a routing dataset for a load balancing system with service capability data is provided. The approach includes requesting a production environment to perform a service. Based on the production environment indicating that it does not have the capability of performing the requested service, the method includes storing data in a routing dataset, the data including an indicator indicating that the production environment is incapable of performing the service.

Aspects of the present disclosure relate to managing contact received by a user traveling to a geofence. Contact can be received from a contacting entity at a device of a user while the user is traveling to a geofence, the geofence being a virtual boundary defining a destination. A determination can be made whether the user enters the geofence. In response to a determination that the user enters the geofence, a follow-up action can be executed.

Managing contact while navigating

A method, apparatus, and/or computer program product control how an application window of a graphical user interface will open. A computing device defines a time period immediately after an application launch selection action by a user and before an on-screen drawing of the application window. A gesture input hardware sensing device senses a gesture input during the time period. A gesture recognition engine recognizes the gesture input. Based on at least one of a type and location of a recognized gesture input, the computing device selects the window location and window dimensions of the application window. The computing device draws the application window on-screen using a selected window location and selected window dimensions for the application window.

Methods, computer program products, and systems for use in near field communications systems for authenticating at a near field communications receiver, a user of a near field communications transmitter. The system includes a data receiver for receiving a signal comprising a first unique identifier from a near field communications transmitter. The system also includes a received signal strength indicator for measuring a signal strength of the received signal. The system further includes a signal strength tracker for tracking a variation with time of the signal strength of the received signal and converting the variation with time into a second unique identifier. The system further includes a comparator for comparing the received first unique identifier and the tracked and converted second unique identifier and for outputting a signal indicating the result of the comparison. The user is authenticated if the signal indicates that the first and second identifiers correlate correctly.

A personalized audio and/or video (AV) stream is created for a user. A first stream of AV data is selected by reference to predetermined user preferences. One or more further data streams having a predetermined relation to the first stream are selected. Portions of the first stream are identified and captured by reference to identifying predetermined indicia in a group of streams consisting of the first stream and the one or more further data streams, where the capturing comprises capturing one or more time stamps from the group of streams. When an email server has a message from a sender to multiple recipients with an attachment file, an attachment application is activated. The attachment application stores preferences of email users for online storage locations. The method carried out extracts details of an email sender and recipients for the email message to be sent with an attachment file and compares the email sender and recipients with the stored preferences for online storage locations to select a common online storage location for the sender and recipients. A directory is created at the common online storage location for uploading the attachment file to the selected online storage location and the address of the attachment file at the selected online storage location is added to the email message. If a common online storage location is not available, a new account can be generated for the recipients at an online storage location.
