A circuit breaker includes a switch with a supply terminal and a load terminal. A blocking diode is electrically connected in series between the switch and one of the supply terminal and the load terminal. The blocking diode is arranged to oppose current flow between the load terminal and the supply terminal through the switch to prevent current back-flow through the circuit breaker.

Circuit breakers with back-feed protection

A multidirectional electrical power protection system, includes a first power supply and at least a second power supply with each supply being configured for supplying power to a main bus circuit; a first load bus electrically connected to the first power supply and at least the second power supply, at least a second load bus electrically coupled with each of the first power supply and at least the second power supply, the first load bus and the second load bus configured for energizing devices connected to the respective first and second load bus; and at least one smart contactor in coupled with the main bus circuit, the at least one smart contactor being configured for sensing a first current flowing in a first direction through the main bus circuit and for sensing a second current flowing in a second direction through the main bus circuit.

Multi-directional electrical power protection system

An electrical power protection system, includes a generator configured for supplying Direct Current (DC) power to a load bus, the load bus in electrical communication with a bus circuit; a generator control unit being configured for regulating the output voltage supplied by the generator; a bus contactor in serial communication with the bus circuit, the bus contactor including logic circuits configured for detecting an overcurrent in the bus circuit, the overcurrent representative of a ground fault in the bus circuit; and a capacitor bank coupled to the generator for selectively supplying an excitation voltage through a diode switch to the generator during the ground fault in the bus circuit.

Fault clearing without a DC backup power source

An automated striking and blocking trainer is disclosed. In some embodiments, the trainer includes the following: a frame; a striking body joined with the frame, the punching bag including one or more strike zone assemblies, the strike zone assemblies each having a light indicator and a striking force sensor; an arm assembly joined with the frame, the arm assembly including one or more arms, each of the one or more arms including a voltage differential sensor and a motion indicator in the form of an electrical motor, wherein the voltage differential between the power being used by the electrical motor when the one or more arms are not struck and when the one or more arms are struck is used to determine a torque of the one or more arms and an input force of a blocking strike; and a head assembly including a processor unit and a display.
