A method includes: receiving a login request including a user identifier associated with a user; transmitting a request for location information of a user device associated with the user; causing computer-executable code deployed to the user device to generate a location-based modifiable digital fingerprint comprising a first encoded value based on a unique identifier of the user device and a second encoded value based on a first location information of the user device; receiving the location-based modifiable digital fingerprint from the user device; verifying that the location information from the location-based modifiable digital fingerprint corresponds to a second location; and providing the user access to the computing device.

Systems, methods, and apparatuses for setting credentials for accounts, or cards associated with accounts, are provided. A queue of credentials may be maintained for facilitating access to at least one account of a user. Credentials in the queue may be automatically generated using information provided by the user without additional input from the user. A deactivation event relating to the account may be detected, in response to which one credential for the account may be deactivated. A new credential from the queue may be activated to facilitate access to the account.

Techniques are described for automatically generating meta-alerts based on operational and security risk alert volumes for an entity. In particular, a central device receives entity alert information from other devices in a computer system of an enterprise business, which may have office branches that are each staffed by employees. The central device compares alert volumes of a given entity for a given period of time (e.g., a month) to one or more baseline thresholds determined based on the average alert volume of peer entities during the same period of time and the entity's own historical alert volumes to identify spikes or increases in the volume of alerts for the given entity. If the entity is trending high for the period of time, the central device generates a meta-alert to bring awareness to the relatively high volume of alerts identified for that entity.

An example system configured to assess risk includes a server, an end-user system that generates an activity report in response to an employee performing an action via a computer device communicatively coupled to the end-user system, and a data warehouse that assigns a category to the activity report and populates a data table in a report database based the category of activity report. The server applies a rule to the populated data table. The rule is selected based on the category of the activity report. When the rule indicates that the action represents risky behavior, the server generates a current alert report. After performing validation checks on the current alert report, when the alert report passes the validation checks, the server transmits the current alert report in accordance with the rule. Additionally, the server stores a response to the alert report.

Intraday alert volume adjustment based on risk parameters is disclosed. A set of alerts associated with user transactions can be displayed to one or more human reviewers for processing. The set of alerts can be analyzed to determine whether or not the volume of alerts exceeds a threshold capacity level, which is based on a number of human reviewers available to process alerts. If the volume of alerts exceeds the threshold capacity level, alerts in the set of alerts can be prioritized based on risk in descending order and displayed to the human reviewers. In one instance, alerts below a threshold can be hidden from view of the human reviewers and optionally automatically approved. Further, prioritization can be performed dynamically as new alerts are added to the set.

Systems, methods, and apparatuses for changing credentials for an account, or a card associated with an account are provided. A method of changing user credentials by creating a queue of credentials for facilitating access to at least one account of a user, where each credential in the queue of credentials is randomly and automatically generated using information provided by the user without additional input from the user; detecting a deactivation event relating to an account of the at least one account of the user; responsive to the detected deactivation event, deactivating a current credential for the account; and activating a new credential to facilitate access to the account, where the new credential is next in the queue of credentials.

Identification of anomalous transaction attributes in real-time with adaptive threshold tuning is provided. A set of historical transactions conducted during a defined time period are analyzed and categorizing into defined groups. Outlier transactions are identified and removed from the set of historical transactions and a set of non-anomalous transactions are determined. When a new transaction is received, the new transaction is automatically allowed based on a determination that the subsequent transaction conforms to the set of non-anomalous transactions. Alternatively, an alert for further analysis for the new transaction is output based on a determination that the subsequent transaction does not conform to the set of non-anomalous transactions.

Identification of anomalous transaction attributes in real-time with adaptive threshold tuning

Systems, methods, and apparatuses for authenticating a user based at least in part on a location of the user or a location of a user device are described. The user may be authenticated as part of a financial transaction or as part of a login process for a computing device. The user device was previously bound or associated with the user. During the authentication, a system (e.g., a financial institution computing system or a backend authentication system) requests location information from the user device. The location information may be packaged as a digital fingerprint of the user device, which can only be created from the user device. Based on the location information, the user can be authenticated thereby approving the transaction or login request.

Intraday alert volume adjustments based on risk parameters is provided. Users may be assigned risk levels, which may be determined based on historical information. An event associated with the user may be prioritized in relation to other events received by the user or by other users. The prioritization may be events received during a predetermined time range, or until an event has been pending for longer than a predetermined interval. The various events are output according to their relative rankings, which may indicate a descending order of risk level. As newly received events are received, they may be dynamically ranked in relationship to the previously received events that have not expired.
