A microservice node can receive a request for information identifying a corrected physical location of a client device. The request can include raw satellite data associated with the client device. The microservice node can convert the raw satellite data to a Radio Technical Commission for Maritime Services (RTCM) format. The microservice node can determine, based on converting the raw satellite data to the RTCM format, an estimated physical location of the client device. The microservice node can receive, based on transmitting a request to a network real-time kinematics (RTK) device, corrections data associated with the estimated physical location of the client device. The microservice node can determine, using a cloud RTK engine, the corrected physical location of the client device based on the estimated physical location and corrections data. The microservice node can transmit, to the client device, the information identifying the corrected physical location of the client device.

Providing a location as a service

A microservice node can store first raw satellite data, associated with a first satellite constellation, in a first electronic file in a first data store, can combine the first electronic file and one or more second electronic files, associated with the first satellite constellation, into a first compressed electronic file, and can store the first compressed electronic file in a second data store. The first raw satellite data and second raw satellite data can be received during a particular time period. The second data store can include a second compressed electronic file that includes third raw satellite data associated with a second satellite constellation. The microservice node can receive a request from a client device, can combine the first compressed electronic file and the second compressed electronic file into a third compressed electronic file based on the request, and can transmit the third compressed electronic file to the client device.

A computer device may include logic configured to generate a virtualized environment for a customer; receive a request to provide a route reflector service for the customer; and generate a virtual route reflector on the generated virtualized environment, in response to receiving the request to provide the route reflector service for the customer. The logic may further be configured to establish a Virtual Private Network (VPN) or secure tunnel connection between the generated virtual route reflector and a client router associated with a customer network via a cloud center access system, wherein the cloud center access system connects a cloud center system that includes the computer device to a provider network that includes the client router; and establish a Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) session between the client router and the generated virtual route reflector using the established VPN or secure tunnel connection.

A measurement of performance of a network interface is made, wherein the network interface is configured to provide traffic across an optical network. A determination is made regarding whether the measured performance satisfies a predetermined threshold. A network metric value of the network interface is adjusted if the measured performance of the network interface satisfies the predetermined threshold.

An approach is provided for auto-bandwidth adjustment of allocated bandwidth for a traffic tunnel over a network. A determination is made regarding a traffic load over the tunnel, where the tunnel meters traffic in accordance with the bandwidth allocation. A determination is made regarding whether the traffic load triggers an adjustment threshold, where the adjustment threshold is set to provide a desired headroom below the bandwidth allocation. Exemplary carrier Ethernet service bandwidth allocation systems and methods are disclosed herein. An approach is provided for auto-bandwidth adjusting bandwidth allocations for traffic-engineered tunnels used to carry traffic along a network. An approach is provided for bit error rate characterization. A test signal representing one or more Ethernet frames exhibiting a particular bit error rate is generated. The test signal is output to a device under test. Traffic is received from the device under test. A determination is made as to whether a link failure condition exists at a port on an Ethernet switch.
