An apparatus includes a first light source, a second light source, an image sensor circuit, and a processing circuit. The first light source is generally capable of emitting infrared light. The second light source is generally capable of emitting visible light. The image sensor circuit is generally responsive to both the infrared light and the visible light. The processing circuit is generally coupled to the image sensor circuit and configured to generate an image comprising both infrared information and color information.

The processor may be configured to perform video operations to generate dewarped frames from the video frames and detect objects in the dewarped frames, extract data about the objects based on characteristics of the objects determined using said video operations, perform path planning in response the extracted data and generate a video stream based on the dewarped frames. The video operations may generate the dewarped frames to correct a distortion effect caused by capturing the video frames from the low position. The path planning may be used to move the apparatus to a new location. The apparatus may be capable of autonomous movement.

The server may be configured to receive a rental offer for a location from a first user, receive a rental request for the location from a second user, generate a rental agreement comprising conditions in response to the rental offer and the rental request and generate a feature set based on the conditions. The camera may be configured to receive the feature set from the server, convert the feature set to parameters for the camera, generate a plurality of video frames of the location, perform video operations to detect objects in the video frames, extract data about the objects using the video operations, compare the data to the parameters and generate a notification in response to the data matching the parameters. The video frames may be discarded after performing the video operations. The video operations may be performed locally by the camera.

The video frames may be discarded after performing the video operations. The video operations may be performed locally by the processor.

A first of the cameras may be on the approach side of the vehicle. The object may not be in a field of view captured by the first camera. The object may be detected in the video frames captured by a second of the cameras that may not be on the approach side of the vehicle. The notification may be generated before the object may be in the field of view.

The processor may be configured to perform video operations to detect objects in the video frames, extract data about the objects based on characteristics of the objects determined using the video operations, detect whether an event has occurred based on the characteristics of the objects, determine a permission status based on the captured audio and generate a video stream based on the video frames. The video stream may be generated only if the permission status allows the video stream. The captured audio may be monitored after the event has been detected to determine whether the permission status allows the video stream.

An apparatus includes a video capture device, an audio capture device and a processor. The video capture device may be configured to generate a plurality of video frames. The audio capture device may be configured to capture audio. The processor may be configured to analyze the audio to determine a direction of a source of the audio, select a window of interest for the video frames corresponding to the direction of the source of the audio, perform video operations to generate high resolution images of the window of interest, perform facial recognition operations on the high resolution images and determine an identity of the source of the audio in response to the facial recognition operations. The window of interest may have an area less than a total area of the video frames. The identity of the source of the audio may determine permissions for accessing features of the apparatus.

The processor may be configured to search for a flickering effect in a frame of the first video signal, determine a location and a region of pixels to modify within the frame in response to the flickering effect, determine a modification based on the flickering effect, perform the modification of the region of pixels by determining average values of pixels based on the location of the region of pixels over consecutive frames of the first video signal and generate a second video signal in response to the modification of the region of pixels and the first video signal. The second video signal may present a modified version of the region of pixels to mask the flickering effect when viewing the second video signal on a display.

An apparatus comprising a camera sensor and a processor. The camera sensor may be configured to generate a video signal based on a targeted wide angle view of an interior of a vehicle. The processor may be configured to detect a type of object in the interior of the vehicle based on a classification of information visible in the video signal. If the vehicle is unattended by a person capable of operating one or more accessories of the vehicle, the processor may be configured to initiate one or more corrective measures based on the type of the object.

The interface may be configured to receive a panoramic video stream from a capture device and present one or more enhanced region of interest video frames to a communication device. The processor may be configured to perform de-warping operations on the panoramic video stream received from the interface, perform video analytics on the de-warped panoramic video stream to select a region of interest, crop the de-warped panoramic video based on the region of interest to generate a region of interest video frame, enhance the region of interest video frame and present the enhanced region of interest video frame to the interface. The de-warping operations may be implemented to correct distortion caused by the capture device. The region of interest may be dynamically selected based on objects detected in response to the video analytics.

An apparatus comprising a sensor and a processor. The sensor may be configured to generate a first video signal based on a targeted view from a vehicle. The processor may be configured to classify objects detected in the first video signal. The processor may be configured to generate a second video signal in response to (i) the classified objects and (ii) the first video signal. The second video signal may present a field of view configured to fit a shape of a display emulating a reflective view from a mirror. The second video signal may present a modified group of pixels of the first video signal to mask a flickering effect of the classified objects present in the first video signal when viewing the second video signal on the display.

An apparatus includes a camera, a memory, and a control circuit. The camera may be configured to generate a first video stream having a first bitrate and a second video stream having a second bitrate. The second bitrate may be lower than the first bitrate. The memory may be configured to store the first video stream and the second video stream. The control circuit may be configured to upload the second video stream from the memory to a user device via a wireless protocol in response to at least one predetermined emergency-related event.
