A fastener assembly is configured to secure a tubular member to a structure. The fastener assembly may include a stud retainer configured to receive and retain a fastener that is configured to securely fasten the assembly to the structure, a tube-retaining section having interior walls that define a tube channel configured to receive the tubular member, and an adaptable tube-engaging member extending into the tube channel. The adaptable tube-engaging member is configured to securely engage a portion of the tubular member.

Tube-retaining assembly

A stud retainer assembly includes a housing defining a stud chamber, and at least one stud-retaining arm disposed within the stud chamber. The at least one stud-retaining arm includes a stud engagement member comprising first and second teeth configured to engage a stud. The second tooth is recessed back with respect to the first tooth.

An isolating clip for holding tubes, fluid lines and the like is provided with a rigid outer shell and a flexible insert. The insert includes an outer body and a tube seat suspended from the outer body by flexible connectors. Bumpers can be provided in the space between the outer body and tube seat to limit deflection of the tube seat.

A stud retainer is configured to securely retain a fastening stud. The stud retainer includes a base integrally connected to beams that are in turn integrally connected to a wall opposite the base. A stud retainer chamber is defined between the base, the beams, and the wall. A vibration-damping interface extends outwardly from the beams. The vibration-damping interface may include a plurality of fingers. The stud retainer may also include at least one flexible brace extending from said wall toward said base.

A tube retention block assembly having a support body incorporating one or more tube support passageways of discontinuous character extending across the support body. A displaceable retaining yoke member is adapted for insertion into a slot disposed transverse to the tube support passageways. The retaining yoke member includes one or more engagement cradles adapted to at least partially surround and lock in place tubes extending through the tube support body.

The present invention is directed to a system for reducing the noise that enters the vehicle compartment through a hole in a drain plug. In an embodiment, the system includes a drain plug with a washer, a shank with an inlet fluidly coupled to an outlet, a cylindrical wall and a disc configured to occlude the outlet. The assembly may include a seal. When installed, the seal seals the washer to the mounting surface while the disc occludes the outlet so as to reduce the entry of noise through the drain plug while providing a passageway that allows the accumulated water to drain away.

A cinch strap has a monolithic latch block and strap. The latch block defines two apertures therethrough, one of the apertures being wider than the other of the apertures. The strap includes first and second strap portions, one of the strap portions being wider than the other of strap portions, and the wider of the strap portions being wider than the narrowest aperture.

The hole plug includes a peripheral planar ledge with a wall formed perpendicular therewith. A gasket seats within the intersection of the planar ledge and the wall. The gasket includes inwardly extending tabs (or &ldquo;dogs&rdquo;) which extend into corresponding pockets (or &ldquo;doghouses&rdquo;) formed in the wall. This causes the gasket, which is initially provided in a non-tacky state, to be mechanically secured to the hole plug during shipment and assembly prior to installation.

A linear bushing attachable to a structural member is formed of a tubular body having a tail part and a lead part forward of said tail part, the tubular body defining a cylindrical wall about a central longitudinal axis and having inner and outer surfaces. First and second sets of resiliently bendable arms extend respectively from the lead part and from the tail part, the arms of each set being spaced apart circumferentially and extending generally forwardly and radially inwardly. The arms of each set have distal ends with inner surfaces which define a bore of first diameter, these arms of each set being deflectable radially outward to define between the inner surfaces of their distal ends a bore of greater diameter than the first diameter. Each of these arms when deflected radially outward applies a resilient opposite radially inward force. The bushing further includes attachment elements on the outer surface of the tubular body for attaching the tubular body to a structural member, with the first and second sets of arms being spaced apart axially forward and rearward respectively of the attachment means.
