Aggregation of computing device settings is disclosed. In embodiments, at least one tile is generated for display. The tile represents a system setting and a status of the system setting. The tile also includes one or more user-selectable elements that are selectable to adjust an aspect of the system setting. In addition, the tile is displayed and is presentable in different user interfaces with one or more aspects of the tile differing between two or more of the different user interfaces.

Healthcare marketing data may be cleaned and normalized according to data validity and/or data canonicity rules prior to being merged into a healthcare marketing database. The merging process may include a fuzzy de-duplication operation utilizing a configurable field scoring table for automatically identifying matching and non-matching records. Personally-identifying, protected health information ('PHI') is stored in encrypted form in protected data records, and hash values derived from the PHI are stored in associated search records. A healthcare marketer may identify market segments of individuals by querying the search records using hashed query predicates, identifying protected data records based on the search record results, and providing anonymized data-record results to the healthcare marketer. Once a market segment has been anonymously identified, the marketer may cause personalized marketing messages to be generated for individuals in the market-segment without the marketer having been exposed to PHI associated with those individuals.

Protected health care data marketing system and method

Provided herein are systems and methods for providing access to marketing data via a reduced-complexity marketer GUI for dynamically defining market segments for use in marketing campaigns. The systems and methods provide a searchable list of person-related and entity-related pluralities of market segmentation criteria, obtain a market segmentation definition comprising a search key corresponding to selected market segmentation criteria, and perform a series of steps to obtain a first market-segment snapshot.

Systems and methods for enabling users to roam between networking environments are disclosed. In one embodiment, different machine settings may be stored in a memory for different network locations under separate network profiles. In another embodiment, these and other settings may be automatically adjusted upon entering a different location. In one such embodiment, a logical network may be employed to determine which settings are adjusted. Another aspect relates to a graphical user interface to implement the above and other methods of adapting a computing device to different network locations. In one embodiment, a graphical use interface may allow the use to modify which application and which aspects of those applications are displayed on the menu. In still yet another embodiments, a memory can update a network profile as the changes occur. In still yet further embodiments, the user may derive or otherwise create new network profiles from existing network profiles. Another aspect relates to systems and methods that allow a user to configure various settings explicitly for different network locations by means of a consolidated UI.

Aggregation of PC settings

An improved system and method for a context-awareness platform that may be used to adapt an execution environment is provided. A framework with interfaces for setting, tracking, and getting context information about the execution environment of a computer system includes a context engine and a unified data store for aggregating context information at a platform level for access by executables running on the platform. The context engine may receive requests to perform context information operations from executables such as setting, tracking and getting context information in the data store. Upon receiving a notification of a change in context information, one or more executables may change the execution environment such as reconfiguring system settings. In this way, an executable may adapt its execution environment using context information.

System and method for a context-awareness platform

A system for testing software modules is provided. A user enters parameter values that will be tested into a spreadsheet. The spreadsheet application generates an XML data file including the parameter values arranged into a table. A test shell extracts test cases from the XML data file and converts the data into a testing object for use by a test engine.

An algorithm automatically selects a power state based on device configuration parameters. The selected power state may then be returned and/or automatically implemented in a shutdown of the device. The parameters can include whether the device supports a system battery, whether the device is connected to an uninterruptible power supply, whether a value is available for remaining battery life, whether the device is receiving AC power and/or whether a hibernate fail safe feature is available. A shutdown failure algorithm may also be included. The shutdown failure algorithm detects a failed attempt to shut down the device using a selected power state. The power state selection is changed and shutdown is then re-attempted. If shutdown again fails, a force shutdown flag is set. If shutdown again fails, a shutdown failure is reported.
