A CPE device may include a plurality of CPE modules implemented in hardware. The plurality of CPE modules may include a first module and a second module. The first module and the second module may be arrangeable in a stacked configuration. The first module may include a first interconnection interface component disposed on a top surface of the first module. The second module may include a second interconnection interface component disposed on a bottom surface of the second module. The second interconnection interface component may be configured to complementarily couple to the first interconnection interface component when the first module and the second module are arranged in the stacked configuration.

Systems and methods for modular in-premises equipment

A base station device broadcasts a base station identifier. The base station identifier is assigned to the base station device, and is broadcasted in one or more system information messages that are receivable by user devices located within a threshold distance from the base station device. The base station device determines whether the base station identifier is to be altered, and processes the base station identifier to generate an altered base station identifier for the base station device. The base station device performs one or more actions to cause the altered base station identifier to be broadcasted. The altered base station identifier is broadcasted in one or more additional system information messages that are receivable by the user devices.

Protecting physical cell identifiers

A method, a device, and a non-transitory storage medium having instructions to attach to a user device, wherein the network device provides wireless access coverage in a cell area or a sector area of a first network; detect whether the network device is in a congested state; generate a message that indicates that the network device is in the congested state when the network device is in the congested state; and transmit the message on a control or signaling channel for receipt by user devices attached to the network device in the cell area or the sector area. The user device scans the control or signaling channel before initiating a session and determines whether the network device is in the congested state. When the network device is in the congested state, the user device performs a switchover to a second network. The user device has multimode capabilities.

Network congestion management service

A device may receive signal information associated with a wireless signal or charge information associated with a charge level. The signal information may indicate a signal strength of the wireless signal. The charge information may indicate the charge level of a battery of the device. The device may determine whether the signal strength or the charge level satisfies a threshold. The device may configure a parameter or a setting of the device to cause the device to operate according to a long term evolution (LTE) category based on determining whether the signal strength or the charge level satisfies the threshold. The LTE category may be different from a default LTE category of the device and may define an uplink/downlink capability specification. The device may attach to a network in association with configuring the parameter or the setting to cause the device to operate according to the LTE category.

Extending signal coverage and charge duration of a user equipment

A computer device may include a memory configured to store instructions and a processor configured to execute the instructions to select to use an access point name (APN) table to be received from a wireless access network and attach to the wireless access network. The processor may be further configured to execute the instructions to receive a Protocol Configuration Options (PCO) message from the wireless access network; retrieve the APN table from the received PCO message; select an APN from the retrieved APN table; and connect to a packet data network associated with the selected APN via the wireless access network using the selected APN.

A network device receives parameters associated with a usage profile of at least one Internet of Things (IoT) device, where the usage profile specifies a data usage pattern associated with the at least one IoT device transmitting or receiving data via a wireless network. The network device generates a device behavior profile based on the parameters associated with the usage profile, and causes the device behavior profile and an application to be sent to the at least one IoT device, where the application controls the at least one IoT device's transmission or reception via the wireless network using the device behavior profile.

The present disclosure provides a method comprising attaching, by a fixed wireless access device, to a Fourth Generation (4G) Long Term Evolution (LTE) base station, causing, by the fixed wireless access device, the 4G LTE base station to add a Fifth Generation (5G) New Radio (NR) base station as a secondary base station for the fixed wireless access device, scanning, by the fixed wireless access device, for 5G wireless signals associated with the 5G NR base station and generating, by the fixed wireless access device, an indication of signal strength for the 5G wireless signals associated with the 5G NR base station.

A system may collect, from a wireless network, first data pertaining to nodes in the wireless network. Each datum of the first data belongs to one of two or more categories/For each of the nodes, for each of the categories, and for each datum belonging to the category, the system may determine if the datum is outside of a first range of values, and if the datum is inside the first range, the system may calculate a first base network performance health (NPH) score that is a function of the nodes, the categories, the data, and time. The system may also apply first deep learning to a first neural network among a plurality of neural networks to update first coefficients for correlating the first base NPH score to a mean opinion score, for each of the categories.

A Self-Organizing Network (SON) collects data pertaining to a first number of cells of a wireless network. The SON splits the collected data into a second number of groups, and, for each of the second number of groups, repeatedly set a third number of clusters to a different number between a low limit and a high limit. The SON, for each of the settings, clusters the cells into the third number of clusters and trains a deep neural network to perform a regression analysis on the third number of clusters. For each of the second number of groups, the SON also determines an optimum number of clusters based on the regression analyses, re-clusters the cells into the optimum number of clusters; and tunes engineering parameters based on the re-clustering to optimize performance of the wireless network and quality of experience pertaining to the wireless network.

A method including determining whether a subscriber identification profile (SIDP) is stored within a UE; sending an initial attach request along with a default network access key to a MME, upon determining that the SIDP is not stored; receiving a first authorization in response to the initial attach request, the first authorization restricts connectivity of the UE to an M2M activation system accessed by a dedicated APN associated with the default network access key; receiving, from a subscription management system, a SIDP generated by the M2M activation system; detaching from the M2M activation system and the network; sending a second attach request to the network based on the received SIDP; and receiving a second authorization to the network in response to the second attach request; the second authorization provides unrestricted APN connectivity and access to services associated with the subscriber identification profile.

The network device processes the data packet based on receiving the data packet, and transmits the processed data packet to a second network device on a second wireless channel between the network device and the second network device. The first network device and the second network device are communicatively connected via a wireless full-duplex link that includes the second wireless channel and a third wireless channel. The first wireless channel, the second wireless channel, and the third wireless channel are different wireless channels.

Systems and methods for wireless backhaul in a local network

A device can receive a system information data from a cell and obtain cell metadata from the system information data, the cell metadata including at least one of: a cell identifier, or a cellular parameter. The device can determine, based on the cell metadata, that the cell is of a particular cell type of multiple cell types, including: a fifth generation long term evolution (LTE) cell type, a fifth generation new radio (NR) sub-6 GHz cell type, and a fifth generation NR millimeter wave cell type.
