A grip band used for working out, has a wrist strap and a grip pad. The wrist strap is positioned around a user's wrist and provides the wrist with support, while the grip pad provides a grip surface having a high coefficient of friction, which enhances the user's grip. A proximal end of the grip pad is fixedly connected to the wrist strap, while a distal end can be removably attached. When in use the distal end is detached from the wrist strap and placed across the user's palm with the grip surface facing away from the palm. A finger strap ensures the grip pad remains in position across the palm. When not in use, the grip pad can be concealed by encircling the grip pad around the wrist strap and engaging a pad fastener with a strap fastener.

Grip band

A protective device to be worn around the wrist of the user may include a wristband to be positioned around the wrist of the user and a hand band to be positioned around the wrist of the user in a first state and to be positioned around the hand of the user and a second state. The wristband may include a nerve point tool to scratch an assailant. The hand band may include a nerve point tool to scratch an assailant.

Method, apparatus and computer program product for identifying a playing media file and tracking associated user preferences

An anti-abduction device for preventing or discouraging the unlawful abduction of a child or person. The anti-abduction device comprises a pair of bracelets with each bracelet being adapted to fit around the arm of a person. More particularly, the bracelets include an interconnecting structure that enables the bracelets to be interconnected. In use the bracelets are disposed about the arms of a child or person. In an abduction threat the child or person places his or her arms around an object. Because the bracelets assume an interconnected mode after the arms have been extended around the object, it follows that the child or person is effectively tied to the object and this will serve to frustrate the abduction attempt.

Anti-abduction device

A passive control tool (8) is disclosed that has a ball (10), a handle (12) connected to the ball, and an arm (14) connected to the handle. The passive control tool has a weapon trap (16) connected to the handle and a striking base (18) connected to the weapon trap. The weapon trap and striking base comprise the body (19) of the passive control tool. The passive control tool has a pocket (20) connected to the striking base, an arm trap (22) connected to the pocket and a hook (24) connected to the arm trap.
