A light-reactive thermal window is disclosed having external and internal panes. The external pane is composed of photochromic glass, while the internal pane is composed of clear glass. The panes are separated by a space having a uniform thickness. Each of the panes has a peripheral edge, with a spacer located between the peripheral edges of the external and internal panes. A sealant seals the peripheral edges of the external and internal panes. The window may include a frame securing together the spacer, the sealant, and the peripheral edges of the panes. Also disclosed is a method of preventing glare on a screen while minimizing climate control costs by installing a light-reactive thermal window near the screen.

Light-reactive thermal window

A television camera includes a front bracket to which the pickup lens is secured. A pickup tube and yoke assembly including a yoke holder are slidably attached to the bracket in a mating circular cylindrical cavity. The tube is back focussed along the lens optical axis by a camming mechanism coupled between the bracket and the yoke holder. The yoke holder has a flange attached to the camming mechanism, the flange having a plurality of alignment slots for angularly positioning the pickup tube relative to the pickup lens.

Television camera structure

A plastic television chassis adapted for use in combination with a cathode-ray tube within an enclosure includes a base having integral snap-together parts disposed at opposite ends thereof. A pair of side frames are attached, respectively, to the opposite ends of the base in a substantially orthogonal orientation. Each side frame has integral snap-together parts disposed adjacent a first edge thereof for mating with the snap-together parts of the base, and also has integral slidable-groove parts disposed along a second edge thereof adjacent the first edge. A panel is attached to the side frames by integral slidable-groove parts disposed along opposite sides thereof for mating, respectively, with the slidable-groove parts of the side frames.
