A continuously variable transmission driven pulley movable sheave comprising a beveled face disk, an elongated hollow cylindrical collar extending orthogonally from a center of the beveled face disk, and a triangular shaped tuning pocket disposed in the collar. The tuning pocket is structured and operable to control axial movement of the movable sheave on the elongated neck of the driven pulley. The tuning pocket comprises a first gear side, an acceleration side disposed at a positive angle relative to a reference point on the first gear side, and a deceleration side disposed at a negative angle relative to the reference point on the first gear side.

A vehicle auxiliary storage compartment comprising a floor, a back wall that extends upward from the floor, and a front wall that extends upward from floor opposite the back wall, and a pair of opposing sidewalls disposed at opposing ends of the front wall and the back wall. The front wall is defined by a back side of a seating structure of a vehicle in which the auxiliary storage compartment is disposed.

A continuously variable transmission housing including an inner cover and an outer cover that define an interior chamber that is structured and operable to enclose a continuously variable transmission primary pulley, secondary pulley and pulley belt. The housing includes a duct panel mounted to the inner cover such that when the primary pulley is disposed within the interior chamber, the duct panel is disposed between an outer face of the primary pulley and the inner cover. An air duct is defined between the inner cover and the duct panel, wherein the air duct is fluidly connected to ambient air from an ambient environment external to the housing. The duct panel forms at least a portion of an ambient air inlet of the housing and includes a center opening that structured and operable to allow the ambient air to be drawn through the air duct and into the housing interior chamber.

Continuously variable transmission

The present disclosure provides vehicle that includes an auxiliary storage compartment. In various embodiments, the auxiliary storage compartment includes a front wall, a pair of opposing sidewalls and a back wall that is disposed laterally between the sidewalls. The auxiliary storage compartment additionally includes a floor disposed between the front wall and the back wall. In various embodiments, at least one of the sidewalls comprising an access door movable between an Open position, wherein access to the auxiliary storage compartment is provided via the open access door, and a Closed position, wherein the closed access door defines the respective sidewall.

A continuously variable transmission housing is provided that includes an inner cover and an outer cover connectable to the inner cover to define an interior chamber. The interior chamber is structured and operable to enclose a continuously variable transmission primary pulley, secondary pulley and pulley belt. The housing includes a duct panel mounted to the inner cover such that when the primary pulley is disposed within the interior chamber, the duct panel is disposed between an outer face of the primary pulley and the inner cover. Moreover, an air duct is defined between the inner cover and the duct panel, wherein the air duct is fluidly connected to ambient air from an ambient environment external to the housing. The duct panel includes a center opening that structured and operable to allow the ambient air to be drawn through the air duct and into the housing interior chamber.

A utility vehicle having a first axle that is coupled to first and second wheels, an internal combustion engine that drives a first output shaft, an electric drive motor that drives a second output shaft, and a torque transfer device coupled to the first axle and the first and second output shafts. The torque transfer device is operable in a first mode to receive torque from the first output shaft only and output a motive force to the first axle, a second mode to receive torque from the second output shaft only and output the motive force, a third mode to receive torque from the first output shaft and the second output shaft simultaneously and output the motive force, and a fourth mode to receive torque from the first output shaft and output a drive force to the second output shaft cause the electrical drive motor to generate electrical power.

A utility vehicle includes a first axle, a second axle, an electric motor, an internal combustion engine, and a torque transfer device. The first axle is coupled to first and second wheels. The second axle is coupled to third and fourth wheels. The electric motor drives the first axle in a first direction and a second direction at different times. The internal combustion engine drives a transmission output shaft in one direction. The torque transfer device selectively drives the second axle in the first direction in response to rotation of the transmission output shaft in the one direction. The torque transfer device also selectively drives the second axle in the second direction in response to rotation of the transmission output shaft in the one direction.

Utility vehicle with parallel operated internal combustion engine and electric motor drivetrains

A height adjustable golf car suspension system includes an axle housing and first and second brackets connected to the axle housing. The first and second brackets each include a first U-shaped member welded to the axle housing, a second U-shaped member welded to the first U-shaped member, and a flange of the second U-shaped member having first and second apertures created through the flange. The first and second apertures receive a mounting fastener of a shock absorber and coil spring assembly. The first aperture is positioned above the second aperture. A height of the suspension system is adjustable by insertion of the mounting fastener into a select one of the first and second apertures of both the first and second brackets.
