The electronic device controls a display device to render a virtual world with a set of virtual elements to represent a set of real-world locations of a geographical area. The electronic device selects a virtual element from the set of virtual elements and further controls the display device based on the selection to render a set of objects inside the virtual world. The set of objects represents a set of offerings that is transactable and available with a seller associated the selected virtual element. The electronic device receives a selection of an object of the set of objects and executes, for the object in the received selection, a transaction between the seller and a customer associated with the electronic device.

Facilitating transactions between users in a virtual world environment

An electronic device and a method for generating personal mobility device-usage recommendations based on user activity tracking is provided. The electronic device monitors a first set of activities associated with a user. The electronic device determines first information indicating a first time period associated with the monitored first set of activities. The electronic device receives second information indicating a second time period associated with a usage of a personal mobility device to perform a second set of activities. The electronic device compares the determined first information with the received second information. The first set of activities are associated with the second set of activities. The electronic device further generates recommendations associated with the usage of the personal mobility device by the user, based on the comparison of the determined first information with the received second information. The electronic device controls a display device to display the generated recommendations.

A method and system for a responsive climate control interface are disclosed. The climate control interface includes an interactive element further comprised of a climate settings map and a climate setting selector. The climate setting selector can be moved to different locations on the climate settings map in order to select a climate setting with a particular temperature and fan speed. The appearance of both the climate settings map and the climate setting selector can be changed as the climate change selector is moved in order to visually indicate temperature and fan speed settings. The system also includes a haptic feedback module that can convert climate settings into haptic feedback levels.

Method and system for responsive climate control interface

A portable display apparatus for conveying vehicle-related information using thermal and haptic touch is provided. The portable display apparatus includes circuitry communicatively coupled to a temperature control unit of the portable display apparatus. The circuitry receives from one or more first sensors associated with a vehicle, first temperature information associated with an interior space of the vehicle or an ambient environment of the vehicle and determines a temperature setting based on received first temperature information. The circuitry detects a physical-contact between the portable display apparatus and one of a skin portion or a cloth portion worn by a user. Thereafter, the circuitry controls the temperature control unit based on the determined temperature setting and the detected physical-contact. The temperature control unit is controlled to change a current temperature of at least a first section of the portable display apparatus to a first temperature, which is different from the current temperature.

An electronic device and method for guiding vehicle users to build a value with vehicle use is provided. The electronic device collects usage data associated with a vehicle and competition information associated with one or more transport options that are different from the vehicle. The electronic device determines saving information associated with a use of the vehicle over a period, based on the usage data and the competition information. The electronic device further determines one or more milestones that are achieved over the period or are yet to be achieved to accumulate a net value which exceeds expenses associated with the vehicle. Such milestones are associated with the use of the vehicle and are determined based on the saving information and the usage data. The electronic device controls a display to render guidance information that includes the net value and information about such milestones.

A server and method for social interaction-based display control is provided. The server acquires information associated with a first user of an electronic device. The server determines social connections of the first user based on the acquired information. The server analyzes an interaction of the first user with second users based on a communication between the second users and the first user. The server determines, based on the analyzed interaction a connection score indicating a degree of interaction between the second users and the first user. The server transmits display information indicating the determined connection score to the electronic device.
