A combination shaving and trimming device includes a powered trimmer and a wet-shaving razor attachment adapted for mounting over the trimmer. The wet shaving razor attachment includes a connecting member for mounting over the trimmer for wet shaving using the trimmer as the handle. A grip insert is provided that removably attaches to the connecting member for wet shaving independent of the trimmer. The combination shaving and trimming device and the grip insert include alignment guides providing one way attachment of the connecting member to the trimmer as well as one way attachment of the grip insert to the connecting member.

Wet shaving razor

A handle for a shaving razor is described in which the handle comprises a grip portion and a neck portion coupled to an end of the grip portion. The neck portion comprises a frame coupled to the end of the grip portion, the frame comprising a pin; a pod rotatably coupled to the frame, the pod defining an aperture to receive the pin of the frame, wherein the pod is configured to rotate about an axis substantially perpendicular to a length of the grip portion; and a spring coupled to the pod, wherein the spring generates a return torque when the pod is rotated.

Razor handle with a rotatable portion

A safety razor having a blade unit has at least one blade and a handle casing. A pivotal connection structure is disposed between the blade unit and the handle casing. A first member is connected to the blade unit and a second member is connected to the handle casing. A joint member connects the first member and the second member and facilitates movement of the first member relative to the second member about a hinge axis that is substantially perpendicular to the at least one blade.

A shaving apparatus comprising a first shaving unit, including a first outer cutter () and a first undercutter () which cooperate together, a skin agitation member (), a housing and a drive source () mounted in the housing. The outer cutter is mounted in a frame (). The drive source is coupled to the first undercutter to provide oscillatory movement with respect to the frame at a frequency in the range 70 to 280 Hz. The drive source is also coupled to the skin agitation member to provide oscillatory movement at a frequency in the range 5 to 50 Hz. The first outer cutter is un-driven with respect to the frame.

Shaving apparatus

In a correction tape dispenser, wherein a backing ribbon carrying a layer of correcting composition is fed from a supply spool () around the edge () of an applicator tip () used to press the tape against a paper surface (P) to transfer the layer of correcting composition onto the paper, and back to a take-up spool (), a tape guide system () is provided near the tip to redirect the tape, the tip edge () being at an angle to the feed direction so that the body of the tape dispenser may be held in a forwardly and downwardly inclined orientation similar to that in which a writing instrument is normally held.

Correction tape dispenser

A method of shaving with a shaving apparatus including an undercutter assembly having a primary undercutter and a secondary undercutter, the primary and secondary undercutters having interleaved blade elements. The method includes the steps of: reciprocally moving the undercutter assembly in hair shearing relation with an outer cutter; moving the primary undercutter relative to the secondary undercutter; trapping hairs which are to be cut between interleaved blade elements of the primary and secondary undercutters; pulling the trapped hairs by continued movement of the undercutter assembly in a respective reciprocation direction; and cutting the hairs between the outer cutter and the undercutter assembly.

Undercutter for a shaving apparatus

An undercutter assembly for a shaver of the dry-type having an outer cutter and a motor drive mechanism. The undercutter includes a primary undercutter adapted to be reciprocated by the drive mechanism and having primary blade elements, and a secondary undercutter disposed within said primary undercutter for displacement relative the primary undercutter and having secondary blade elements interleaved with the primary blade elements.

A shaving apparatus includes an outer cutter (), for example in the form of a perforated foil, and an undercutter assembly (), adjacent to the outer cutter, which is drivable for linear reciprocation in a reciprocation direction. The undercutter assembly has a driven primary undercutter () and a secondary undercutter (), which is moveable with respect thereto, the blade elements of the primary and secondary undercutters being mutually interleaved. When the primary undercutter () is reciprocated relative the outer cutter (), the secondary undercutter () also performs a reciprocating movement, which lags behind that of the primary undercutter, so the blade elements of the primary and second undercutters move towards one another at intervals and can trap hairs therebetween, causing them to be pulled in addition to the cutting action and thus achieving a closer shave.

The tape dispenser has a handle (1) for storing a supply of tape (18). The tape (18) consists of a backing ribbon carrying a coating composition, and backing ribbon from which the coating composition has been removed. An applicator (12) having en edge (10) around which the tape (18) passes is arranged for pressing the tape (18) against a surface to transfer the coating composition from the backing ribbon to said surface.

Tape dispenser

A marking instrument includes a barrel, a marking tip and a marking fluid reservoir disposed in the barrel, a retraction mechanism to move the marking tip from an operable position to a retracted position through an opening in the barrel, and a seal to close off the marking tip from the barrel opening when the marking tip is retracted. The seal is toroidal in shape, which allows the seal to close upon itself, thereby eliminating any need for additional manipulation or outside forces to close the seal. The marking tip, marking fluid reservoir and seal are replaceable so that each can be replaced when they become worn or inoperable.

Marking instruments

A retractable marking instrument has a seal arrangement for sealing the marking tip (3) when it is retracted within the barrel. The seal arrangement comprises a sealing element (6) shaped as a torus which rolls between the barrel (1) of the instrument and a refill unit (2) carrying the marking tip (3).

The tape dispenser has a housing accommodating a tape. The tape consists of a carrier ribbon carrying a coating of a composition. The housing also accommodates used carrier ribbon from which the composition has been removed. The supply of tape is held in an elongated reel wound around a pair of spaced and independently rotatable spool members. Ends of the carrier ribbon are connected together, and the used carrier ribbon is stored on the reel with remaining unused tape.

Tape Dispenser
