A method begins by monitoring exchange item transactions occurring in an exchange item marketplace network. The method continues with generating trend information based on the monitored exchange item transactions and determining attributes for a targeted marketing program based on the trend information. The method continues with identifying a subset of buyer computing devices based on the attributes. The method continues by generating offer information based on the targeted marketing program and sending the offer information to the subset of buyer computing devices. When receiving a purchase request from a buyer computing device, the method continues by generating an exchange item request regarding an exchange item and sending the exchange item request to a branded server associated with the exchange item. The method includes receiving offer exchange item information from the branded server and sending at least a portion of the offer exchange item information to the buyer computing device.

Injecting exchange items into an exchange item marketplace network

The paid media online cooperative method is a multi-user method having computer-automated steps that provide price negotiation more effectively than a single buyer of media alone can. The digital cooperative includes organizations associated with the co-op, the organizations retaining the same variables as they would normally have outside of the co-op. The co-op method allows users to manage cost in the form of cost per visitor or per impression, thereby reducing advertising cost while upholding impression and visitor counts among all members. Software applications of the method may be centralized or distributed. The method provides a democratically controlled enterprise that is autonomous and independent of any of its members, and based on a lowest cost pricing model. Member participation in the co-op is voluntary. Each member accesses data fields to manage media buys, except the pricing field is unavailable to the member, and is instead managed by the software application.

Paid media online cooperative method

The present invention relates to an automated web ranking system. The system monitors online marketing media ('OMM'), such as search engines, portals, affiliate programs, and other websites displaying advertiser listings or banner advertisements to determine the effectiveness of an online marketing campaign. The system is able to track online and telephonic orders or sales to a particular marketing campaign. Based on the effectiveness of a particular marketing campaign, the system can automatically place bids for positioning of an advertiser's listing on a pay-per-click search engine or make a determination as to whether or not to turn on a banner advertisement at set cost.

Automated web ranking bid management account system

The present invention relates to an automated web ranking system which enables advertisers to dynamically adjust pay-per-click bids to control advertising costs. The system tracks search terms which are used to market an advertiser's product or services in on line marketing media ('OMM'). The system determines the search term's effectiveness by collecting and analyzing data relating to the number of impressions, the number of clicks, and the number of resulting sales generated by a search term at a given time period. Based on the data collected and parameters which the advertiser provides relating to the advertiser's economic factors, the system calculates a maximum acceptable bid for each search term. The system monitors the web for competitor's bids on an advertiser's search term and places bids which fall below the maximum acceptable bid.
