Microbial compositions for application to plants, plant parts and plant seeds are provided for improvement of plant disease resistance and/or other beneficial plant traits, particularly resistance or tolerance to soybean sudden death syndrome (SDS) caused by aspecies and/or disease caused by aspecies. Methods of making and applying microbial compositions or formulations to plants, plant parts or plant seeds or to growth media are further provided to increase or improve plant disease resistance and/or other beneficial plant traits.

Certain strains, cultures, and compositions thereof are useful for the control of head blight disease, for example, of various crop plants. Biological control compositions, and methods of use thereof to prevent, inhibit or treat the development of plant pathogens or disease and for preserving plant yield, are also provided.

Compositions and methods for controlling head blight disease

Microbial strains, compositions, and methods of use thereof to enhance the growth and/or yield of a plant are provided. Also provided are materials and methods for presenting, inhibiting, or treating the development of plant pathogens or phytopathogenic diseases. The disclosure also provides non-naturally occurring plant and derivatives thereof such as plants artificially infected with a microbial strain of the invention.
