An electrical assembly may include a housing and an inner housing. The housing may include a base and a cover. The cover may be releasably connectable to the base. The inner housing may be disposed at least partially in the housing. The inner housing may include a connection tower, which may be configured to receive at least a portion of a fastener. The cover may include a cover opening via which said fastener may be insertable into the connection tower. The base may include a base opening into which a portion of said fastener may be insertable. The connection tower may be configured to provide a seal for the cover opening.

Electrical assembly

An electrical unit and method of assembly that includes a base housing having a plurality of sides and an opening in one of the sides configured to receive a wire therethrough, and a cover configured to mate with the base housing, defining an internal chamber therebetween. A power distribution box is disposed within the internal chamber, at least one electrical connector is disposed at least partially within the internal chamber, operatively engaging the power distribution box, and extending through the opening, and a universal sealing plate that is selectively mountable on each side of the power distribution box and mounted to align with and seal against sides of the opening and at least a portion of the electric connector extending through the opening.

Electrical unit

An electrical connector may include an L-shaped body portion and a base portion. The body portion may include (i) a first body portion extending in a first direction, and (ii) a second body portion extending from the first body portion in a second direction. The base portion may include a protrusion configured to engage a projection of a housing member to releasably connect the base portion to said housing member. The first body portion may be connected to the base portion to define an internal space in which a first electrical component and a second electrical component are electrically connectable to each other. The base portion may at least partially define a first opening via which said first electrical component is insertable into the internal space. The second body portion may include a second opening via which said second electrical component is insertable into the internal space.

An electrical unit may include an electrical unit housing having a first housing member, a second housing member, and/or a third housing member; a circuit board that may be disposed at least partially in the electrical unit housing; a fastener that may be disposed at least partially in the first housing member, the second housing member, the third housing member, and/or the circuit board; and/or a bushing that may be disposed at least partially in the first housing member, the second housing member, and/or the circuit board. The fastener may be disposed at least partially in the bushing.

Electrical unit and bushing

An assembly includes a contact interface device, a lamp base and a circuit board. This device is connected to the circuit board and is used to bias the circuit board within the center of a cavity of a light bulb. This device contains two or more biasing portions that are connected to one another through a bridge portion. The biasing portions engage an interior threaded portion of the lamp base in order to lock into place and not allow the circuit board to move. The bridge portion allows the biasing portions to counteract one another and suspend the circuit board in the middle of the cavity of the light bulb.

An electrical unit includes a first housing member, a second housing member, and a fuse assembly connected to the first housing member. The first housing member and the second housing member may provide a chamber to receive at least one electrical connector such that the fuse assembly is disposed at least partially between the first housing member and the at least one electrical connector. The first housing member may be configured to retain said at least one electrical connector. The fuse assembly may include a plurality of fuses having current capacities of at least 80 amps. The fuse assembly may include a bus bar and a plurality of fuses fixed to the bus bar. Each of said at least one electrical connector may include a plurality apertures or recesses disposed in a plurality of rows and a plurality of columns.

A power distribution box assembly may include a housing, a circuit board disposed in the housing, a plurality of electrical components attached to the circuit board, and/or a plurality of electrical traces attached to the circuit board and configured for electrically connecting the plurality of electrical components to at least one of another electrical component of the plurality of electrical components and an electronic control unit. A power distribution box assembly may include a wiring harness connector connected to the housing. In embodiments, a wiring harness connector may include a connector housing and a plurality of connector terminals that may be configured for electrical connection with the plurality of electrical components. A plurality of electrical components may be disposed relative to the circuit board in a manner that minimizes at least one of a number, a length, and a volume of the electrical traces.

An integrated power distribution box includes an upper level assembly with a printed circuit board including at least one electrical component, a lower housing configured to receive at least a portion of the printed circuit board, an intermediate housing configured to be coupled with at least one fuse, a master fuse electrically coupled to the printed circuit board, and a lower level assembly including at least one connector corresponding to at least one of the master fuse, the at least one electrical component, and the at least one fuse.

An integrated power distribution box including an upper level assembly including a printed circuit board comprising at least one electrical component, a lower housing configured to receive at least a portion of the printed circuit board, an intermediate housing configured to be coupled with at least one fuse, a master fuse electrically coupled to the printed circuit board, a lower level assembly including at least one connector corresponding to at least one of the master fuse, the at least one electrical component, and the at least one fuse.

An electrical junction box for an automotive vehicle. The junction box includes an upper cover and a lower cover. The lower cover may be constructed as a unitary one-piece molded body that defines a plurality of separate terminal cavities. Each of the separate terminal cavities is adapted to receive a single wire terminal without a housing connector that has multiple wire-terminal receptacles. In addition, the junction box may include an electrical circuit board and a busbar between the upper cover and the lower cover.

In one aspect of the present invention, a power distribution bus bar that includes a first conductive bus bar configured to receive power from a power source. A plurality of stamped finger-like clamping members are integrally formed to the first conductive bus bar and configured to distribute power to a secondary high power bus bar within a power distribution box. The plurality of stamped finger-like clamping members apply a compression force to the secondary high power bus bar for securing the secondary high power bus bar within the power distribution box.

A Power Distribution Boxes (PDBs), such as but not limited to the type employed in vehicles and other devices to distribute power from a primary power source to a number of loads. The PDB may include top-down constructions in so far as the main components are laid one on top of the other. Wires used to distribute energy from a primary source to a number of loads may be connected from an underside of the PDB.

A tire pressure sensor assembly is provided for use with a wheel rim including a valve hole. The sensor assembly including a metal valve stem element having a stem base, a stem body, a stem cap end, and an inner stem chamber. A lower sensor housing is rigidly over-molded onto the stem base and forms a sensor storage chamber. A tire pressure sensor element is mounted therein. An outer rubber seal is over-molded onto the stem body and includes an inner retention portion, an outer retention portion, and a retention groove configured to allow the metal valve stem element to be press-fit and retained into the valve hole. A plurality of vent holes are formed spaced around an outer perimeter of the stem base to allow universal orientation within the valve hole.

Method and system of electrically connecting multiple printed circuit boards (PCBs). A pin may be used for establishing electrical connecting the PCBs. The PCBs may include one or more openings for receiving one or more corresponding pins. The pins may include securing and alignment features to facilitate proper securing and assembly.
