A sole for an article of footwear is provided and includes a midsole attached to the upper and including a lateral side and a medial side, the midsole including a first member and a second member attached to the first member, the first member being separate from the second member, the first member having a sidewall and a recessed area and the second member having a sidewall that extends along the medial side around the heel portion and along the lateral side of the first member, the second member being positioned in the recessed area of the first member.

Footwear including a stabilizing sole

An article of footwear is provided and includes a sole having a lateral side and a medial side, where the sole includes a first member and a second member attached to the first member, and the first member is separate from the second member. The first member has a sidewall that extends about a periphery of the sole and the second member has a sidewall that extends along the medial side around the heel portion and along the lateral side of the first member.

An article of footwear is provided and includes an upper having a width and a footbed. A sole is attached to the upper and includes a heel portion, a lateral side and a medial side. The sole includes an upper surface and a lower surface, where the upper surface extends across the width of the upper, and where the footbed is on the upper surface of the sole. The sole forms a shell having a sidewall that extends from the lateral side around the heel portion to the medial side, where the sidewall extends along the upper to a point above a top surface of the footbed.

An article of footwear is provided and includes an upper including a footbed and a sole attached to the upper, where the sole includes a midsole and an outsole. An article of footwear including an upper having a strap assembly with a plurality of straps, where a plurality of the straps have outsole connectors, and at least one removable connecting member is configured to interconnect a plurality of the straps. The article of footwear also includes a sole including a top surface, a bottom surface and a plurality of through-holes positioned on the sole, where the plurality of the straps including the outsole connector are inserted through a corresponding one of the through-holes until a bottom surface of each outsole connector is substantially flush with the bottom surface of the sole to secure the strap assembly to the sole, and at least two of the straps are interconnected by the at least one removable connecting member.

Footwear attachment assembly

An article of footwear is provided and includes an upper including a footbed, a midsole attached to the upper and including a heel portion, a lateral side and a medial side. An outsole is attached to the midsole to form a shell having a sidewall that extends along the medial side around the heel portion and along at least part of the lateral side, where the sidewall extends along the upper to a point above a top surface of the footbed. The extension of the sidewall above the footbed provides medial and lateral stability to a wearer's foot and also aligns the foot in the article of footwear.

An article of footwear including an outsole, a fabric upper and at least one connector including a first male member co-molded with the fabric upper and a second female member. The first member includes at least one rib and the second member includes at least one groove, where the at least one connector is secured to the outsole by inserting the second member in the outsole and engaging the at least one rib of the first member with the at least one groove of the second member.

Footwear including a removable and replaceable upper

The present invention relates to an animal safety collar and methods of operation. One embodiment of the present invention relates to an animal safety collar including a strip of flexible material, an extendable material, a first coupling device, and a second coupling device. The extendable material is coupled to either end of the strip of flexible material so as to form a loop. The loop's circumference may be temporarily increased by expanding the extendable material, causing the ends of the flexible material to move away from one another. This capability allows the collar to expand so the animal can slide out of the collar when it is inadvertently coupled to a fixed object in an unsupervised scenario. The first and second coupling devices are fixably coupled to the ends of the strip of flexible material, respectively. Therefore, when the extendable material is expanded, the first and second coupling device move away from one another. The expanding capability may be disabled by rigidly coupling a device simultaneously to the first and second couplers, thereby preventing them from moving away from one another. Therefore, the expandable safety feature may be disabled when an animal is in a supervised scenario such as a walk.
