A post coupler having a first body portion and a second body portion. Each body portion having an inner edge, an outer edge, a reverse flange, and at least one post alignment tab. Each reverse flange forms a post receiving slot. The first and second body portions are coupled to each other at approximately 90 degrees. A method of using the post coupler comprises the steps of a) providing a first post section and a second post section, b) inserting the first post section along the post receiving slots until the first notch interacts with the tab, and c) inserting the second post section along the post receiving slots until the second notch interacts with the tab.

A middle shelf installation tool is disclosed for use in combination with a pair of upstanding corner posts during the assembly of a boltless shelving system. Upper and lower sets of hingedly connected corner post surrounding members are spaced one above the other so as to extend across the top and bottom of the installation tool. The installation tool is wrapped in surrounding engagement around the bottom of an upper one of the pair of corner posts and the top of the lower one of the pair. The installation tool forms a splice to hold the upper and lower corner posts in axial alignment one above the other to facilitate the location by a single individual of a middle shelf at the intersection between the corner posts to lie between upper and lower shelves of the system. Once the middle shelf has been installed, the installation tool is pulled off and removed from the corner posts.

Stackable stand

An easy-to-assemble, easy-to-break down boltless shelving system including a rack and shelves on which articles can be stored and displayed. The boltless shelving system has upstanding corner posts located at the four corners of the rack by which back and side panels can be slidably and removably attached to the rack to enclose three sides thereof. Each upstanding corner post of the rack has a pair of flat faces that extend from one another at an angle. The outer ends of the flat faces are bent to form longitudinally-extending flanges that run along opposite sides of each of the corner posts. The flanges have a generally L-shaped profile to create guide channels. Panels are pushed downwardly and into receipt by the guide channels of opposite facing flanges of a pair of adjacent corner posts, whereby to enclose the rack of the shelving system on any number of sides thereof.

The present invention provides a beam stop for use in an ion implantation system that includes a base formed of a thermally conductive material, and a heat transfer layer formed of a semi-elastic material that is disposed on a surface of the base. The beam stop further includes one or more tiles, each formed of a thermally conductive refractory material, that are disposed on the semi-elastic layer so as to face an ion beam in the implantation system. The heat transfer layer transfers heat generated in the tile in response to ion beam impact to the base. The base in turn can be coupled to a heat sink to remove heat from the base. The thickness and the thermal conductivity of the base, and those of the heat transfer layer and the tile are chosen so as to ensure uniform expansion of the base and the tile when the beam stop is heated by ion beam impact.

The present invention provides a heating assembly that includes a thermally conductive, lamp-mounting block manufactured from aluminum or a similar material, which can be machined as a single-piece (e.g., unibody) block. The unibody block includes one or more networks of inner passageways bored or otherwise machined within the block for transporting one or more cooling fluids. The mounting block can also have a reflective coating on one or more of its surfaces that face the lamps to efficiently reflect heat and/or light generated by the lamps onto a desired surface, for example, a semiconductor wafer. Thermal isolation devices, e.g., pads, provide for both physical mounting of the heating lamps to the mounting block and also provide thermal isolation between the heating lamp and its electrical connections are also disclosed to protecting heat-sensitive elements of the heating assembly such as seals.
